I have a gadget I bought from Bettaware years ago its like a large bowl that has a spike inside The globe comes apart and you insert the iceberg lettuce on the spike and recover the globe with the top bit. Its the best lettuce keeper I know and I can have a lettuce for at least a fortnight which, as I live alone is very good. I also know that either tearing a bit of lettuce off or using a plastice knife stops it from going brown. But if your a bit broke then just wrap in tin foil I do this with celery and it keeps for ages0

Tin foil? I wrap it in wrapping foil, does tin foil work better?0 -
