limp lettuce??

place the leaves in a bowl of cold water with a tablespoon of sugar mixed in leave for half an hour

result----crispy lettuce ;D ;D

    And aren't there devices called 'salad crispers' that prevent drooping, dropping and dripping?

    do you mean a bowl with a thing on the lid to spin it, think my granddad has one of them.

    I have found a limp lettuce which has been in the fridge for at least 2 weeks. Is there anything I can do with it or is it a lost cause.
