I don't know my better halves pin numbers, or security passwords for anything either come to think of it.
Perhaps we spend too much time in bed together to have time in our lives to memorize each others pins.
I have enough trouble remembering my own. My first thought reading what you wrote was that you must trust your partner completely, but live very boring lives.
p.s. Well done Morrisons!
And I would also bet the people who don't know their partners pin also have passcodes on their mobiles which the partner don't know and also have Facebook accounts where the partners don't know.
Now if this is the case IMO they are in a relationship where each other don't trust one an other however way you want to look at it.
I don't want a big debate on this I was just giving my opinion as its an open forum.0 -

Sounds like your either incredibly insecure or a control freak if you need to know every last detail about your partner life. The opposite of trust?0 -
Having a lock on your phone facebook ect that your OH doesn't know is a diffrent situation from knowing their PIN.
As many people have said letting other people know your PIN is in breech of the t&c's you sign on any card.First Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
Given that I can't remember my wife's birthday or our wedding anniversary, I think there's little point in her telling me her PIN.0

Partner regularly uses my mobile. To be honest, we each just grab whichever is closer. I've no secrets stored on it, so I don't care. Neither does she.
Neither of us have Facebook accounts as we think that its just sad having to broadcast to everyone what your doing at every minute of every day. Commenting on what other people are doing is even worse. Anyone who doesn't know us we don't want having our personal info, and we share photos with friends and family via email.
To be honest, I think you are the one who is quite sad rather than us, wanting to know every aspect of your partners life.0 -

You and your OH have joint bank accounts, so why do you need to swap cards and PINs?
If there was any card related fraudulent activity on your bank account I suspect one of the questions the bank would ask is if anyone else had access to your card or knew your PIN. Being the honest person you are you would, of course, answer 'Yes,' which would lead to them dragging their feet when it came to reimbursing your and your partner.0 -

would visa not go for an execution in these circumstances ???0 -
Now your just been silly.
I know for a fact that NO ONE knows ANY of my PINs, and I don't want to know anyone elses either. If I don't know their PIN, I can't be accussed of using their cards.
And its PIN, not "PIN Number". The "N" in "PIN" means "Number". No need to duplicate it.
There's nothing sad about keeping within your account terms and conditions. Not everyone wants to blab their sensitive, personal information to everyone.
my eldsest daughter knows mine, i trust her , secret squirel doesnt live here !!0 -
Not knowing your partner's PIN, Facebook password, etc. and not rooting through their phone/laptop/belongings is trust! Trust that they have their privacy (and quite rightly so), but won't abuse said privacy by doing the dirty behind your back!0
