  • Sorry to hear your friends 'think' they're doing the right thing.

Wood burner sounds cosy... we had a fireplace installed to replace a backboiler... we could only have a gas fire but we had our hearts set on a wood burner. Nevermind.

Sausage casserole... thanks for the idea. I was thinking 'urgh sausages and mash again' but this will be a nice change (running the freezer down to defrost - not quite at the weird concoction phase yet!)

  • Feeling £380 lighter today...... signed up for the gym - its a 12 month contract - i pay , i go, if i go , i am unlikely to spend pennies on my "rest days".
on a healthy eating scheme, oh stated that he thinks i need to channel my mind into "me time" , so lucky for me the "savings" made for the house insurance is going to pay for the gym.
On a positive , my body seems to be finally mending itself - sorry boys cover your eyes( my body is showing its that time of the month!!) and thought that what i had been through had stopped all that.
the dr said that exercise is a good move to.
    £1800 overpayment made on mortage.

need to start saving again.... knew dec was the worst month of the year - but seriously - it doesnt rain it pours!!!!!!!!!!

great stuff is that last day at work is next friday...... yay!!!! time to catch up on diaries - feel like missed loads!!!

One of the other posters keeps a gym cost log and compares it against her annual membership fee. It may help you decide how to pay for your gym membership in years to come.

Great overpayment. I hate this time of the year. It's really expensive.

I hope you are medically normal soon.
