read the diarys before, and ones got right on my wick , trying to make out that we are all sad for wanting to get shut of our chain around our necks. i am astounded how people can see it as being negative, i kno for a fact that i am not doing myself out of anything , but spending was becoming silly, and reality needs to kick in . we spend within our means and just because the society of today want everything for nothing , they seek for the disposable income and never make do and mend.
BUT NOT EVERYONE IS LIKE THAT ...... and in the years to come who will be better off??

Don't suppose it was the one where I tried to have a reasoned debate, but the chap was just trolling? :rotfl:0 -
Yeah I saw that........ I think some people just look to stir things up -thing is, looked like he had been a member for a while and had made a fair few posts, so was a little bit confused about his intentions.
Spending money doesn't make you happy - it might give you a legal high for 5 minutes, but that's about it - let's face it, I should know, lol.

Yep, I started to read that thread as well before coming away from it. The thing I love about MFW is that everyone is so nice and helpful AND non-critical, so it was a real shame to have someone questioning our motives, and stirring things up.

Ed - the very same - i thought you did it with tact and diplomacy - i was scathing so no comment - least said the better......
Lula - yep 5 minute high, 5 days of guilt till it arrives, then 5 minutes of high when you open it, then 5 days of sulking as you pick faults in yourself for either :-
a) thinking it makes you look fat
b) thinking a op could be made
c) realising that sometimes the old faithfuls are great!
I am going through the fat stage even with eth exercise - i seem to be toning , but no muscle defonition as yet , and belly fat not seeming to shift..................
I have 19 days to look HOT for the hen do, and 6 Weeks to have perfect armsfor the bmaid dress.....
hate hating myself sometimes but i strive to make a silk purse out of a sows ear!
