To be fair lula you do have quite a few 5 minutes though ;).

I think I'm just perhaps a little bit too honest for my own good. :)

    still annoyed with THAT thread....
i have a house that we couldnt afford , we pushed it and we have doen it including doing it up. we drive a nice 4x4, and we enjoy ourselves - if being frugal and motivation includes getting rid of the morgae - whats their problem????
I am striving to provide for my family the way mine did for me, dont get me wrong my mother woudl never have a gym membership nor would she have her eyebrows waxed or nails done, but thats my treat to me. I was fortunate enough to have a large deposit on thehouse to put down throug hinheritance, and my parents paid for our reception at our wedding - BUT we work hard and have paid for the rest..... we own two properties - thats what i want.
I also want to be able to send my children to uni if they want, and pay for their weddings if needed....surely thats our choice - lets face it 100K in the banks pocket is better in mine - it would pay for all my ramblings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TTFN , have a great new years eve , and see you all in 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ps for natty and lula, and Ed
, Lula - i am super excited for my new trainers to arrive eeekkk, Natty - is it to early for a wine???
Ed - dont let people get to you!!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Happy New Year!!!

Well yesterday was a very unproductive day - arose about 11ish, with half a blue wheelie bin full of empty bottles - good thing though everyone brought their own stuff. the buffett was eaten up today - just got the pate to munch through.
Basically just cleaned up and took the tree down.

OH is full of flu, he was up and downlast night so didnt get a wink of sleep.
Needless to say i am in the spare room....again!!!!

Got my monsoon order , handbag is lovely ( Starting to sound like lula here) - its a keeper, the cardi is to small so thats £30 refunded. yay - decided a jacket that i already have will look better and more edgie.

No spend day today - was at wk for 7 , then straight to the gym and have done 3 hours there - feeling it now though , but with grumpy in bed i can have a shower , bed and early night.

Tea tonight apple, bacon and pheasent stew - mmmmmmmmmm was using up the left overs from roast phesant our FREE treat . was delish......
New year, new me ........................ soooooooooo far so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!
