    Tea = reduced pork chops, reduced chips, reduced vegs and free garlioc m n s mushrooms curtosy of a mother that decides she doesnt like em!!!

  • Just sent another email to new job.... people are asking wheni am leaving now. Called in on friend and we will resume car sharing next week i think.wood burner in and was hoping to go and do some cleaning , but mother beaten me to it.

    looked through wardrobe and found xmas do outfit. been invited to a 21st , so will look in my gift cupboard and recycle - but saves making tea one sat night.

    found a voucher for a pub so out for tea friday night i think, then still got £30 for another pub locally - but want to save that for when in that really cant be bothered mood as its closer than the takeawy!!

    looked through freezer and seem to be getting through the reductions at a good pace - think we will stretch to another weeks food if we can, maybe just more, then we will need to use my xmas savings card!!! yay!! hopefully the freezer will be empty empty....i hope so anyway!!

    awaiting my membership fees to be paid into the bank then will pay that on my card, dec seems a very tight month.
    already got :-

    tea out with a friend who went to uni with
    dinner dance
    oh's 30th
    oh's theater trip ( tea and car parking grrr)
    wedding anniversary ( dine in meal for two from m n s i think!- using vouchers)
    Works xmas do
    xmas itself and .....

    the biggest let down of all NYE!!!! then in jan

    Hen party and wedding .............................. and we are staying over......needless to say we will be watching pennies alot!!!

  • forgive me MFW's as i have sinned.....

    well i have had a fat day and ended up with x2 supermarket ready meals and just been to the shop for a big bar of chocolate ( it was cleaper to but the big bar not a little one!!) not sure whats been up wi me today cant get warm.

    OH has gone to console the "lodger", as he is been yoyoed by the ex. no doubt he will have a few drinks in the pub......

    feels late even though its early........................

    dont think it wil be long until i go to bed

  • Well had a no spend day yesterday, went out for tea as children in need was on but used vouchers - so that was lovely , n called in on some friends so no heating one either!!.
    Been at the other job this am, then got drawn back in as there was offers on like 3 chickens ( raw) fro £10, so got that - lots of vegs etc £71 lighter i left - but stocked up again , and put all money on saving card so got £150 to spend in dec ( technically a free months shopping) and got a £20 gift card free of work as a gesture of good will.
    Down side , weighed myself and put 1/2 stone on due to the damn op... grrr got a bmaid fitting on sat - any tips for quick weight loss??!!!
    Off to see the Oh's gran now , sp we dont need to put heating on.

  • Busy visiting night last night, fingers crossed i will be able to catch up on all the diarys soon!!!

    Today long list :
    visit 3rd friend who has declined from telling me she is expecting ( the joys of being barron! - my 3 best mates get up the duff and care not to tell me!)
    buy oh some new trainers and workboots - they are falling apart and hurting his feet
    change beds x2
    hoover
    dust
    make soup
    clean bathroom
    sort clothes out for this week
    try not to eat anything
    do oh's bag of food for tomorrow


    getting giddy as going op my 1800 this week- yay!!! thats £2800 in total since july when i signed up

    Also going to see what the balance is and perhaps use the "december food money" to even it out and round it down..... oh my i'm getting like natty, Peonie, and Tilly with the funny number game!!!!

    then again i have a feeling that dec may be expensive with the OH's bday meal...........

    we shall see lets concentrate on one bit at a time!

    M n s Voucher came through to - dont know if said so thats stached away either for a bday present for the monster in law or as a treat........... hmm htink i know which!!

    all done- just finished a cookathon - made
    soup, sausage cassarole, roast chicken for butties, chicken legs - that i forgot to give my mother - depicked and put into chicken soup pile, chicken n mushroom pie with the pickings, on n chicken soup...

    oh went to the local farmers market n came back with sausages , bacon n burgers - he looked very pleased until i said freezer was full. going to take to mothers n put in her "spare".

    bacon n sausage butties for lunch, shower then off to see the friend.............................

    feeling rather smug!!!

    Well done for all of the cooking, your freezer must be at breaking point now! I love having lots of meals in the freezer to call upon as and when required.

    Sorry to hear about your best friends keeping it from you, I guess they worry about hurting your feelings but don't realise that by keeping you out if it that they end up hurting you even more. Hugs xx
  • Thanks Lula, its hard on both sides, but your right it hurts more as you feel abit of a clown that everyone else knows!!!


    On the plus side, NSDay!!! woow. awaiting oh coming home so he can fill the car up - his turn! but this means i save my turn.... complicated i know.
    got more food than know what to do with - and eeekkk the freezer is brimming - keeping my fingers and toes crossed that we will eat it all this week. suppose dto be out on friday night for tea with friends but i might give it a miss with the food - i will catch them tomorrow and suggest just a drink - as i am not throwing any food out!!! grrr!!!

    Job front , my naughty manager has been requested for a reference numerous times - and not answered so suggested hr contact his manager ( my other reference) and hey presto - it was done - 3 weeks of waiting for 10 minute job...... coz managers are soooooooooooooooooooooo busy!!!!

    Night one of cookathon sausage cassarole
    also made some chicken and cheese tarts to go with the oh's lunch using up pastry from yeserday - i am the domestic goddess now!!!

    lunch tomoz soup, tea chicken pie
    wed lunch - veg soup, tea - chicken soup
    thurs lunch veg soup, full english tea!! ( basically a meat feast!!)
    fri - tea veg soup with crusty bread
    sat lunch - you guessed it veg soup!!!

    hehehe!!!

    least it will keep me regular!!!!
    wood burner in , and tea in oven, all jobs done - how i love being organised!!!!!
