And chewynut, i came on here for advice not for snide comments! And for your infomation YES i do have my own car! It was my ex partner who offered to drive and has told the insurance company he was at fault and he was also the one that told me to go to hospital!
Thankyou to everyone who as given helpful comments
It may be snide but it's true. Nobody will ever want to give you a lift again in case they stall going up a hill or something and you get them for whiplash too. Poor souls.'til the end of the line0 -
i dont call hitting a 3ft ford at 30/40mph stalling! if youve nothing helpfull to say, dont bother saying anything at all....thankyou!0

You may get a small payout, but the payout will be dived by your ex-partners insurance over 6 years and added on the insurance paid, so they will have less money to look after the kids or may have to give up driving all together, but on the other hand, if they can not see a flooded road, it might be a good thing.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. i think you should change the title of your post as it is stretching the truth slightly to describe it as a 'road traffic accident'0

Please don't take this the wrong way but I think think you may have hurt yourself getting your children out, and just maybe you should be glad to be ok.

How could you have stopped dead if you were in the middle? I would have guessed that if you were going 30/40mph the car would have slowed down before stalling ('in the middle')0 -
