As would I. 30 seconds is another matter though.
but from OP post the car parked is crowded and in the OPs own words Granny was dithering (she didn't say for how long) but can't have been clearly reversing in if someone had enough room to drive straight in as most people with a nice car wouldn't risk driving into a space if another car is actually moving backwards in case they don't see them.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

NO DITHERING in car parks allowed0 -
There will always be people who maybe act selfishly or annoyingly on the roads, it's just life. the second everyone starts seeking some kind of retribution for people getting on our tits we will end up in anarchy.
Just get over it and move on...
If i came out the gym and found my tyres let down, I would check CCTV and if it was clear who had done it i would get the police involved...0 -
Interesting points here re. criminal damage etc. I wonder how serious the police response would be. I read a newspaper story some time back about ASBOs/neighbours from hell, where in the case of someone's car being doused in pink emulsion paint by the neighbour, the police said that no crime had been committed, as "emulsion paint washes off".0

I guess he'll see you there same time next week? Unless you are afraid of your actions and therefore the kids will miss out on their swimming.0

Yes, but it's a lesser charge than animal interference.:D0 -
Is that when you steal the cat off the exhaust?0

Two things happened in that car park:
Flash git was intentionally a jerk to someone who'd done nothing to him.
Someone taught flash git a lesson.

How very bright! Let's hope nobody was in trouble who needed police assistance nearby because some burk prevented that assistance with a criminal act.
That someone you know sounds like a right knob.
May have saved someone a pointless ticket........Google gives you answers use it.........0 -

Hope you're not on cctv and get lifted for vehicle interference.
Seeing as the OP did not intend to steal the vehicle, that would have been quite frivolous. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
