Love the OP, you have my support. Anyone not with you simply is an ar*e and I guess would also nick your space.

Someone I knew (cough cough) once let the tyre's down on a police car because he thought he could park on double yellows.

Come on, bring it on......waiting for the comments!!!

How very bright! Let's hope nobody was in trouble who needed police assistance nearby because some burk prevented that assistance with a criminal act.

That someone you know sounds like a right knob.

Nice trolling on this thread, and I see we've invoked godwins Law already.

If the driver has any sense he will ask to see the CCTV footage. If the culprit then got into his own car, that registration will have been captured so no problem finding out who did it.

He cannot view the CCTV footage unless he requests it and he must only view what he wants to view ie his car if it covers anthing else he cannot see that. He must request this in writing from the person who holds the licence for the CCTV operation.

Generally only licenced operatives can view CCTV.

    Why?

Deduct two points if you respond Data Protection Act or RIPA.

If someone let my tyres down I'd call the police. Although I don't slyly steal parking spaces, so hopefully don't give people reason to!

I do drive a BMW and have owned a couple of Audis though and can't understand the anti-high quality German car sentiment. Vauxhall drivers seem to be much bigger tw*ts!

I love the "I'll wait until they've gone...." mentality here. Where would we be if we'd had that attitude when Germany invaded Poland? (Godwin).
If we'd just waited until Hitler was looking the other way and let his tyres down then France need not have worried.

I know you stated Godwins law but you still used Hitler in your argument :D.

I think the general feeling is a certain type of driver doesn't care about others. The middle manager, sales rep driver who normally votes Tory etc etc...

They mostly drive BMW's or Audi although you'll catch em driving a Ford or Vauxhall company car.

What an utterly childish thing to do. Why not just tell the driver what you thought of them instead of acting like a spoilt child.

If Granny is a crap driver and had spent 10 minutes trying to park and I needed to park and get somewhere too I might be tempted to go in the space. It's so annoying waiting for people who simply cannot park going backward and forward an inch at a time because they can't see due to cushions on their back shelf!
