It was not meant to tear you apart at all. Your melodramatic 'naked baby' post irritated me a little, however I was simply suggesting that you might have clothes that could be recycled. I know from experience that it is lovely to have new clothes for a new baby, and that sometimes your heart rules your head.0

I know from experience that no money in the bank account and being heavily pregnant, you can't afford to let your heart rule your head. You need every penny possible to pay for the value pasta and tomatoes you need to buy to feed your growing toddler and hungry husband.
So my baby daughter wore clothes new to her ie all 2nd hand, and boys clothes which were DSs old clothes.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

bylromarha, my husband was made redundant just after I found out I was pregnant, hence the fact that there are a lot of pictures of my daughter in the same clothes as her older sisters!0

I feel very stressed hence my meodramatic response and I felt under attack so its a natural response to fight back. I can assure you its not a case of my heart ruling my head.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
I can appreciate that this must be a stressful time.
Is there anyone that could lend you the money until the NatWest fiasco is sorted?0 -

I reused all my first daughters clothes the second time round but then sold them on ebay as soon as she grew out of them.
I have to start from scratch with everything, baby bouncer, clothes, car seat, pram as we now need a double, cot as dd is still in hers and even if I put the baby in her cot then it would mean buying a bed so either way more expense. I have 10 weeks left and so far only have the car seat for my baby and 2 outfits.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -

And the kids actually find it sweet to see some of their old stuff on her children.:DI lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0 -

MIL has bought us some food to last us a few days and paid off one of our bills but I feel tight as she is disabled and only working part time. Also the more I borrow the more I need to pay back so don't like borrowing unless I have too as we don't know when DH will be back to work and in the mean time his £80 a week doesn't even cover the rent.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
Even without money worries, there is some family pride in passing clothes down. As babies, my kids wore a lot of the cousins casts off. Which were proudly recycled to my niece.
