And you wouldn't have loved me in your class, trust me!! I spent more time in the corridor outside the class than in it, usually for gabbing. That would be against my human rights these days!!

Yep, it was 1986, it was my first set 1( Oh, the honour).

I spent a lot of time outside or in detention for talking - that's probably why i became and English teacher - talk for a living.

Yes both educational. I don't think you mis understood but with other posters quoting the wrong facts and twisting things this thread is confusing and off topic now.
