Just don't like bullying, that's all... And by the sound of things, you've had a fair bit of it in this thread, which is a real shame.
You'd do well not to get so irritated by people or get on the ultra-defensive... just walk away! Better than stooping to their level. And that can include me and my opinions.
No hard feelings; as I said, I enjoyed the rest of your posts. It is on the whole a positive thread, but you CAN get something positive out of an opinion that isn't your own, you know...

3 Feb - I'm back! I went on my two-week trip to the West Indies, & got back just before lunchtime today. I had a brilliant time - most days were in the high eighties to mid-nineties, so I had to spend the afternoons & evenings relaxing with cold drinks on the verandah or upstairs on a balcony as it was just a lot easier.
I had a really good rest, caught up with lots of other family (some I'd never met before) & all in all it was definitely a trip worth making. It was especially great to see Dad again as I'd not seen him for over 12 years.
I was in a "loving this weather" sort of high until I got a text from a friend on Monday telling me it was snowing in London - I thought she meant just the usual little snow flurries, but when we were on the plane this morning & came over the UK it was just a sea of white with hedges breaking it up & creating a patchwork! My flight was delayed coming in, & trains from Gatwick to London crawled along the track when they eventually turned up, so I got a cab from Victoria home (thank goodness I'd put money aside for that). I was full of energy when I got home, but I'm absolutely shattered now - though I've had a strong coffee, I can feel sleep slowly creeping up on me. I've done the washing, so it's going to be feet up, remote clasped to right hand & some choccies for me for the rest of the evening.

Hi WDIAG
Great to `see` you safely back Honey & sounds like it was a trip of a lifetime !!! :j
I hope the jet lag isn`t too bad ....but in this weather the best thing is just to curl up in front of the TV.

4 Feb - I made myself stay awake all day yesterday, finally getting to bed after 2am. I woke up about 8am this morning, stretched & rolled over a few times until 9am
& now I'm just about to have some breakfast. Having looked outside at the sunshine, icy pavements & snow piled up at the side of the roads, I've decided that I'm not putting a foot outside today except to post some mail (the postbox is just a couple of minutes away). I did all the washing & essential stuff yesterday, & I intend to spend today catching up on my soaps. I got a few mosquito bites while I was away, but the sandfly bites are far worse because they itch like crazy for days - thank goodness I've got a full tube of Calamine cream here to use.

Hi WDIAG
Was just thinking on Sunday you must be due home soon, and here you are. Glad you enjoyed yourself. Hope you are feeling nice and relaxed after your break, if a little jet lagged.
