I think some people are just very cruel & deceitful. My friend's got her situation sorted out thankfully, because her ex's dad stepped in & made sure of it. Had he not done so, she might have gone BR too.
Good luck with your interview - I'm sure you'll be fine.BSC #53 - "Never mistake activity for achievement."

hi wherediditallgo,
I just wanted to say I've been reading you diary and I've found it really helpful. I am considering bankruptcy as in september my partner is going back to university and once thats happens I think that will be my only option as we struggle now with 2 wages. I'm hoping to make a fresh start but have not made a final decision just yet.0 -
Hi WDIAG!
Been reading this thread for a while now and, like everyone else, have laughed, cried and cheered with you. You're clearly an amazing, talented person and I'm looking forward to the next instalment - also, may I share your poem with my colleagues via our internal newsletter (credited to you as requested) please? They'd love it as much as I did.
PLEASE keep posting!!!

Hi Jude,
I like to keep as much of a track of my work as I can, so if you can first tell me (by PM) who you work for, then I can decide. Is it a debt-related organisation?

24 July - An unbelievably nice day - a friend made me cry, but in a really good way. Was speaking (OK, moaning
)to a friend on Friday about my music etc because I haven't got the energy to do any live work yet & I really miss singing. I need to get on with recording, but this pc's hard drive is almost full & I haven't got the motivation to clear it down. On Saturday I got an e-mail from her, telling me to be at home today as something would be arriving for me. And it did - a new base unit for my computer! :j:j She got it from SVP - 160Gb hard drive, decent memory with 3 years' Dell on-site warranty & Vista Home Basic (I can get Vista Home Premium through work at a discounted rate, so that won't be a problem). I thought she was ordering it for herself, so I advised on which one to get, but it's for me to do all my composing on! She said she couldn't give me the money as she knew I wouldn't take it, so she gave me the next best thing. I haven't set it up yet, but now I can set up all my music software, do my website etc on a totally virus-free pc that won't be crawling along like it's on its last legs, plus I've never used Vista before but I hear music & website development is much easier with it. I'm so pleased & started crying like I had taps for eyes
- she's always had faith in my abilities, & now I've got decent equipment to work with I feel re-energised to get on with it. I'm going to spend the rest of the day setting it up.

The kindness of others never fails to amaze me - I think it's because it's so few and far between we see others taking the effort to do things like this - not for the money side, just the effort. Someone I actually don't know that well pressed £100 in my hand a few weeks ago and told me to pay it back if and when I ever could, it had no strings but he just couldn't bare to see someone as worried as I had (still am I guess lol) been over feeding me and OH and basically starving a bit.
Some people are really lovely, it makes you realise that life is worth living if there are only just few of them left and how much of a difference a single person can make. If only more were like it lol
I hope the singing cheers you up asap - it always does me and if I had a voice worth listening to would be extra cheered by recording etc, so happy hops from this quarter on that oneDo not feed the trolls please.0 -
29 July - Read this morning that Richard got his letter advising of his Automatic Discharge today - I'm so pleased for him. It made me think of how the time has flown by for me - I can't believe that I've been BR for 4 months today! It seems like only yesterday that I was working myself up into a state worrying about filling in the paperwork, going to court, getting money out of the bank etc, yet here I am on the other side of the fence 4 months later pretty much organised. I've now made two IPA payments (both of which were made before the due date, for which I have the letters confirming receipt that they sent me), my bank accounts have been sorted out, all the bills are paid & I've got myself signed up to loads of freebie & "earnings for clicks" sites etc. Things are looking a lot better now than they did six months ago.BSC #53 - "Never mistake activity for achievement."

So glad that all is going well for you wdiag!
Things still it a bit surreal for me at the moment - but the wonderful thing is now my little boy is saying that he is 'glad I have a happy face now' and he didn't like my 'sad face' which ironically made me cry!
Still a struggle at times but at least I know now where every single penny is going now and I have a wonderful supportive mum who always seems to know when I am feeling down and appears out of nowhere like a guardian angel :A
I have followed your diary since the beginning and it has helped me such a lot you wouldn't believe, which I why I am so pleased that things are now falling into place for you. :T
Take care

1 Aug - Noticed this morning that I've been thanked 1002 times in 579 posts. This is what being off work sick has done for me - I've clearly had too much time on my hands, and/or too much to say for myself. No wonder my Dad says computers are the tools of the devil.BSC #53 - "Never mistake activity for achievement."
