Havent been out for a meal for years, have a take-away when we need a small treat, usually once a month.

I confess, I'm quite bad for ordering a takeaway when I've allowed the groceries to get down to the stage where preparing meals is difficult. I need to be more disciplined with meal planning.
  • Wagamama with my other sister over my Appeals woes. ( I have gone off Chinese unless exceptionally good).
The nearest I got to a Takeaway is a £2 Pizza Express Reduction in Mr T's which I heat up at home.

Used to have a takeaway at least once a week. Now I either buy a version from a supermarket or make it myself as it's much cheaper and tastes just as nice if not better! More organisation is needed but it cooks in the time that we used to wait for it to be delivered. Haven't had a takeaway in over 3 months x

About once a fortnight for a proper meal out but about once a week for chippie night.

Probably 2 ish times a month - dependant on birthdays etc.

Mostly is going out for a meal rather than a takeaway, i normally incorporate pizza in the weekly shop if wanted.

Going out is usually to wetherspoons £6 for a burger and pint which is enough for me or occassionally bowling at local arcade (£10 hour for a lane) with my sis and an indian set meal at £60 for 4 plus drinks so ends up costing about £50 per couple.

We never eat out or have takeaways unless its someones birthday or a special celebration. Even on a recent holiday we only ate out because my Mum gave us some money to do it.

With two older kids even a takeaway curry is over £30. Just cant afford it.:(

Take away on Saturday night - we probably do this 3 times a month.

Don't eat out too often, but we did go to Nando's a couple of weeks ago.

I've always had room in my budget for "entertainment", which includes eating out and takeaways. Each to their own.
