All my cats used to have collars... gave up.
1 they were losing them all the time
2 one day George came home with his BACK leg somehow inside the collar and had to untangle him
after that - gave up, collars are dangerous - the one George got tangled himself in was one the ones that are supposed to have safety release.. yeah right....
OP - microchip the cat is she is not already chipped....0 -
What a beautiful girl!Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £10,153.440

I got these
http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/cat_carriers_travel/collars/multi_coloured/14837
for my cats. I assume they're safe because I sometimes find them on the floor in the morning after they've been playfighting. They haven't lost them outside yet but it's probably just a matter of time so maybe not very MSE
I get Advantage from Animed and I find it works well and I can definitely recommend ZooPlus for food, haven't bought litter there yet but will probably start soon.
Lovely cat by the way!0 -
Spike - that is the one that caused Goerge to assume a very interesting joga position LOL0

Poor George
But he was lucky compared to some cases I've heard about. Definitely no collars for any of mine. 0 -
righty ho, ordered a grooming brush for her
The bowls are stainless steel as I vaguely remembered someone on here writing about avoiding plastic. A good point about the litter mat - will probably pop into PAH in the week to get that
once we get Maisie settled in, I'll post a few more photos of her.
ETA: I thought hubby was less excited about this than me until he showed me that he's changed the wallpaper on his phone to the photo above
Daisy's litter tray is inside one of those large cardboard boxes that cabbages come in at Lidl's,line it with paper & it'll keep the litter inside as she gets out & it'll also give her something to clean her claws on after she has done the needful.
Also a cheap way to catproof upstairs windows, cost you about 5op a window....

She is beautiful, I love tabbies.
Spike7451 what have you used to sort your windows?? Mine have no sense of danger with open windows and we recently discovered one has worked out how to get out onto the roof via a 3rd floor skylight!!!!!
They like to sit on the frame ledge and get the wind in their fur. They haven't realised that the window opens when they do this!! I have plastic framed ones which open at the top.Crafting for 2009 items doneOne patchwork blanket, two neck supports, one tea cosy, one knitted bunny, one knitted egg!0
