    Hello everyone,

Happy St.Patricks Day to all - think I might just have to make champ at some point :D

Happy Birthday to Snoozer - have a great day!

Haven't been doing much to post about recently, but have been reading the threads when I have been able to, so *hugs* to all who need them.

Not much planned for today - breakfast was bacon rolls, as I wan't able to get any soda bread yesterday. I love bacon sodas - a favourite brekkie :D I've the WM about to go on, and will finish loading the DW after another cuppa. Still feeling a bit tired though I did get to sleep in this morning, so hopefully some more tea will help :p Then I'll have a bit of a general clear through the kitchen, and I need to get to the shop.

Have a good day everyone, *hugs* to all, take or leave as you please :)

Thank you, Just stopped for dinner, prepared by OH (awwwww, isn't he good.:T :T :T ) I am still bogged down in one of the bedrooms, furniture cleaned, walls and ceiling done, all rearranged to dd1's satisfaction. Just got the toys to sort and carpet to do after this cuppa and then the next bedroom beckons.

    Hi Everyone!
It's a lovely day here, but I know the cold weather is hiding around the corner again!

AIME399 Favourite breakfast would be pancakes, maple syrup, bacon, sausages, eggs, french toast, hash browns, juice, lots of coffee all served at the IHOP!!:T
Your photos are great, I've only got 2years and 4 months to save up for our next trip!
We're going to Perth in Australia next year to visit my brother. The last time I was there I visited a place called Monkey Mia which is on the west coast. You can camp or stay in a chalet and walk down to the beach to interact with the wild dolphins. I can't wait to take my two daughters there. :j

So back to today. Well so far DD1 has been to the orchestra and I've hoovered the house. My parents are coming for an early Mother's Day gathering as they're off to my other brother's tomorrow. I'm going to roast a leg of lamb and I'm going to attempt to make yorkshire pudding for the first time, wish me luck!

    Ladygrim - ((((hugs))))

There's a thread about Mother's Day over on the Marriage, Relationships and Families board where you might find some support. It was started by somebody whose little daughter died last year, but lots of people have posted on it who have recently lost either their mother or a child.

    Link here

THANKYOU for the link Bargain Rzl, and to all the others for their hugs.
I've had a damn good cry, blown my nose and now I feel a lot better. I know others are in similar positions, and my heart goes out to them as well. Berevement is such an individual journey. Knowing support is always there is a great help. Thankyou everyone on MSE.

    Hi again,
I too lost my mum, though it was few years ago now, she died of lung cancer, she had been a heavy smoker. To keep her spirits up she played a lot of music & I Will Survive was one of her favourites, so much so, that we decided to play it at her funeral. Unfortunately at the same time Weetabix, started to use it in their commercials. So my poor mum ended up being cremated to the tune for a breakfast cereal, still I know she would have seen the funny side of it.

    Afternoon all

My latest favourite breakfast came from a fab cafe in Winter Park last week; a warm croissant filled with egg (scrambled/omelette style), ham & melted cheese. It was scrummy. If I'm making it myself I like eggy bread with a good dollop of tomato ketchup.

Busy morning so far - our remortgage cheque came through this morning :j, so popped into town to pay that in, along with a birthday cheque from my Grandad. Then to the deli for some dried porcini (miles cheaper than the supermarket), a quick whizz round Debenhams (nothing purchased :A) and then the bun fight that is Morrisons on a Saturday. It was total chaos in there.
Now I need to iron OH some shirts for work, put away all the holiday washing  and get tonights coq au vin sorted & in the oven.

My Mum, Dad & brother are in Florida at the moment too; I guess the good exchange rate is making it too much of a bargain for people to resist at the minute.

    Have a lovely Saturday

Mine was a similar thing, ref the lightbulb, its a local hospice charity, donate some money every yr, and a light of love will shine on their Christmas Tree in memory of someone, and in return you get like a wallet size (credit card type) with a special message on! I did it Christmas 2006 in memory of my Grandparents!

Like I keep saying - I miss my grandparents, and I would like to adopt another set!
