DAILY ST PADDY'S DAY 17 March 07

Options
Hi, this is the Daily Thread for Sat 17th March. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread
after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Ahhh bagurraraaaa!!!!!

Hello everyone...it's ST PATRICK'S DAY!!!!

I am in such a good mood, even though it's half way through the night, but what can I say I am in fantastic company, and it's St.Patrick's Day!! Yayyy!!

At the moment I'm in Pink's house typing away with a wee dram of whiskey in my hand! She's a great host but as I say the company is fantastic as AUSSIELASS is right behind me!!! So, I know you are all jealous, but please please be happy for us, it's only a little mini meet but it's got to be one of the best ever! AussieLass still has a wee bit of tan from Australia, but she assures us that her white bits are slowly joining up....

Mr Pink says hello, but he's got the front door open so I think I'd better motor on.

Lots of love everyone, have a fantastic St.Patrick's Day, and have an equally fantastic weekend. See you all soon.

    Good morning everyone,

We spent a wonderful evening with Aussie, Mr Aussie and Snowy. All three were great company and we enjoyed lots of chat and lots of laughs. They've just left, unfortunately they have an hour and a half drive home!

We have planned to get together tomorrow morning for the St Patricks day parade, but I think we'll be lucky if any of us are up by lunchtime!

I hope you all have a good weekend. Happy St Patrick's day!

    Hi All

It's my nephew's birthday to day so we're supposed to be going to the pub later so the kids can go in the play area and then we can all have a meal.
That's about it for today really apart from taking the dog to the vets to have her stitches checked.

Hope everyone has a good day

    Morning All

Looks like the mini meet was a real success, Happy Saint Patricks Day, it was 34 years today DH and I got engaged. Not something I usually remember but know it was by chance St Patricks Day, to us it was the first day that DH had not worked overtime, thus giving us time to go and look for a ring, earning money took priority.

Don't think I had a good night, fell asleep watching tea time TV after 5 am get up, which we have had again today, but wasn't tired at bedtime, read until 11.30pm then tossed for a while, then woke up at 3 am and took the daily walk! must be an age thing, and then managed to nod off again and be in a deep sleep at 5 am. Feel OK though, and coffee by my side at w**k. Voluntary though making up hours to stretch the holidays, so beneficial to us.

Fetching DS from Nottingham at lunchtime, but have to watch him play hockey first, our sports nut doesn't change, have even agreed to take him down to play next Saturday (even though we will have taken him and the GF out for his birthday on the Friday night). Don't know who's daftest us or him (probably his GF, as she will end up going too as she is coming to stay with us for his birthday).

Looks like you and I, MrsMixand juliejim are the only ones awake at the moment Amie, I'm a morning person too.

(((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))) all round, and congratulations to anyone celebrating.

What's the weather like in the EMids MATH?

Very chilly is'nt it. I am refraining on taking the dog for a walk for a while, but I guess it's not going to get any warmer....
Don't know what to do today. We have some friends coming over tonight, but I am not sure what to cook yet.. Hmm Not much else to say really.. sorry
