Just popping in to say thanks for all the good wishes.

Off to the spa for the day with DD - I love getting her all to myself, then for a meal out tonight.

Hugs to all in need or ill.

  • Happy birthday Snoozer and anyone else celebrating.

Happy St Patricks day to all those celebrating - have a good one!

My cat is now allowed back out, we are all pleased he is better after losing one of his nine lives!

Went to a charity quiz last night - questions were really hard - came 4th out of 10 (so quite chuffed!!!) but a couple who appeared won, (any of the regulars usually give the money back to the kids football team - but as the outsiders won - they kept it.)

Off out again tonight, to celebrate my mum's enagagement. She met her new man on the internet after losing my dad 3 years ago. They got engaged on Christmas day but the families haven't had chance to get together since then. Nice and OS - they're paying for the meal!

Off to read yesterdays thread as I missed it! (((((hugs))))) to all who need or want one, have a great day xbbxx

Top 'o the morning to youse all, I have a wee dribble of the Irish blood in me from my Mums family, as way back in the 18th century they emigrated to Scotland. They were supposed to be going to the U.S. but apparently my Gt,Gt,Gt,Gt,Grandma wasn't a good sailor, and decided that Scotland was as far as she wanted to go.(Family handed-down history) so I may not be able to do a jig (not with my legs), but any excuse is good enough for me.They apparently came from somewhere in Connemara.
I hope to go there at some point next year with one of my DD's
Well I so far haven't done a great deal. The weather looks o.k. from my window at the moment ,but it's supposed to change over the week-end.
Breakfast will be hopefully an ommelette as I have some sliced mushrooms and some red pepper to use up. Then I shall be getting down to writng my essay for my Uni course .6000 words on the connection between three various books about the sea.Jolly good fun ,I only hope I can decipher my notes.
If I manage to get that done with out too much blood ,sweat and tears I may take myself off to the pictures later on. Last night was Comic Relief on t.v., and tonight it's The Eurovision Song Contest. When will our normal programmes return, Iscrolled through the cable channels last night and ended up watching the Crime Channel. Not bad ,but I want to be entertained with a big movie on Saturday night. So I will check to see what's on at our local Chatham Dockyard cinema.
Tomorrow I am going to visit my eldest DD for a couple of hours, and then afterwards going to see my youngest for dinner .
Hope everyone has a good week-end and <<<hugs>>> to those in need Take care everybody.
