Dog skin problems - again or ongoing...not sure

Tyson is on salmon oil but he is as itchy as anything at the moment. He doesn't have dandruff but he does have very dry itchy patches. The vet said it was an allergy but we still don't know what to.
He has had a couple of small, hard spots on his head that look a lot like those that Zara has. His kind of grew upwards though, kind of like a wart. I pulled them off, and one grew back but then didn't come back after I removed it again, and the other one didn't come back. I think they were warts or little cysts. If they come back I will see what the vet says0 -
I booked Zaea ro see a dermatologist not a general vet, really have no patience time or money to keep on going to various vets for them to TRY things on her as they have no idea what is wrong so bokked straight with dermatologist.
Last time she had problem with her skin was just after New Year when all was closed and emergency fees were in place - how typical.
That was in Jan so still under the same "year" within her policy insurance and I have paid the esxecess then, bill was over £120 and vet did not have a clue what was wrong with her, gave her some standard antibiotics - they did help for the things rouns her eyes/ears but never helped for her skin/fur condition or those kind of warts.
I can only really see them properly now as her leg is shaved but not going to go to a vet for him to be guessing .. I want them to do proper tests (scrape the skin and analyse for the cause).

Dolly's skin problem has flared up again the last couple of weeks (hasnt had any probs for couple of years), vet thinks its field mites that are biting her as the shampoo i normally use didnt make any differenceA home is not a home ..... without a dog0

Oh Zara is enjoying her tummy rubs all day today thanks LOL
I wonder if those are not some kind of bites (those little holes on top of them), and causing an allergy on the skin?
No fleas on her or the cats, no skin issues on the cats either - went over the lot with like a magnifying glass almost today and nothing.
Really bugs me....0 -
Does Zara walk anywhere visited by deer? From the description, the bumps sound like encysted tick-heads after the ticks have been scratched/combed off.0

No dears here but pulled a few ticks of Zara and the cats last year - have not seen one of them this year. Was wondering the same but the flakey skin/dandruff?0

My dog has allergies (the main one is dust mites, but he's allergic to other things too), and he used to get similar lumps to those, although they were redder in colour.
The true miracle drug we found for him was Atopica. It's not cheap, but it literally worked wonders for him within 7 days. I'd tried everything prior to that, including changes of diet, salmon oil, steroids....you name it.Egg Loan - [strike]£4921.84[/strike] £0!! :j Barclaycard - £3866.47 Legal + Trade - [strike]£2700.96[/strike] £0!! :j Triton - [strike]£1730.89[/strike] £0!! :j Next - [STRIKE]£776.15[/STRIKE] £126.88 Littlewoods - [strike]£217.16[/strike] £0!! :j Housemate - [strike]£1300[/strike] £0!! :j Capital One - [STRIKE]£1652.51[/STRIKE] £1,081.58 Vanquis - [strike]£2337.75[/strike] £375.58

Thanks - I will see what vet says on Thursday.. sigh...
Her "spots" are not red at all, no red skin around them either. Those "holes" ot top of them REALLY bug be...
And that terrible dandruff she seems to be having for ages now, very flakey skin - and she is NOT scratching at all....
Puzzled...0
