Instead of buying a big bottle, most off licences have mini-bar sized ones for a couple of quid. One would easily do a couple of batches of fudge :)

Hmm good point. So many fudges to choose from!
  • Love all the recipes, am going to have to start making a list of them all. Especially keen on the flavoured vodka, but mostly for me : )

Ald* have lovely tins of spanish hot chocolate at the moment. one of those and a bag of marshmallows would be great in a hamper.
  • Home and Bargain have got some small packets of Thorntons chocolates for 99p and the dates were best before Feb 13, so fine for Christmas hampers. They also had M&Ms, red, white and green ones which I thought were very Christmassy looking. Best before date was at some point in Dec this year. I picked up a Glade candle, spiced apple and I didnt realise til I got it home that its got a lovely Christmassy design on it. Its was quite pricy at £1.69, but I loved the smell so much, I thought it was worth it lol.

Me too, watch it daily because items get reduced for a day then shoot back up. I buy as soon as one of my wishlist has dropped in price.

  • I am thinking of making crackers from the inside of toilet rolls. I'm sure I read it somewhere! Does anyone know where to get the things that you pull and go bang in the crackers?
