They also had M&Ms, red, white and green ones which I thought were very Christmassy looking. Best before date was at some point in Dec this year. I picked up a Glade candle, spiced apple and I didnt realise til I got it home that its got a lovely Christmassy design on it. Its was quite pricy at £1.69, but I loved the smell so much, I thought it was worth it lol.
Thanks for this post - I went into my local H&B store for hairspray and whilst there remembered reading it so picked up some of the M&Ms for December (date was 16/12/12) and some little Thorntons chocolates (end date 2013) for our Christmas hamper :T
I also got some dark chocolate Elizabeth Shaw mint crisps for £1.69 in B&M Bargains for when we have guests, now we have both milk & dark chocolate ... I love those though so might not make it for guests0 -
Local Home Bargain$ store had Crazy Jack brand marzipan for 29 pence a pack today. Best before date is Oct 2012, and it states to use up within 4 weeks of opening. As it is a "best before" and not a "use by" then it should be ok for Christmas cakes and sweets. One life - your life - live it!0

Wish we had a Home Bargains!
I thought I had been really clever getting DS something he'd actually like for xmas. He's just sold lots of toys on ebay and is saving most of it but told me tonight he really desparately wants to buy something he's seen at his friend's house - you guessed it, just what I bought! So back to square one. Still I used a voucher from Valued Opinions and he will give me cash so at least I can now get him a present from anywhere not just Amazon.0 -
