Marilyn, don't forget things like soap-powder, softener, lady needs, deodorant, toilet roll, cleaning stuff, toothpaste, soap etc, they can take a big chunk from a tight budget and as has been said before, you do not get that sort of thing in a food bank and benefits can take anything from a month to over three months to kick in, so try to have enough savings to pay your rent/mortgage and bills for at least three months. Even if you find a job you have to wait for a month to six weeks before you get paid.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I've got my cardboard box ready so going to start Christmas hoarding. Only thing is I can't buy nicies cos they wont last 2 minutes.
So basically will start buying things I don't really like lol.
I'm going to do a cat stock up too, cos just thought if it gets hard to get a Tesco delivery I will be stuck for geting cat litter, so better stock up on the heavy stuff.1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31

I think it was 26p, somehting like that, and honestly it's really good. I was suprised.
These sort of things I wouldnt normally try, their conditioner is ok too, think that was about 30p. Also tried their tomato sauce, 19p I think (sorry not got prices to hand, but all very cheap) and its a huge squeezy bottle and its quite nice.1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31

but has anyone noticed the price of Pringles this year? £2.49 a tub
They only last 5 minutes in my house once opened. Unless they go on a VERY GOOD offer somewhere, we will not be having them this Christmas.
Morrisons have then 2 for £4, but that is still a bit much for me.
No way they are worth that much. :eek:1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31
