  • i havent tried it myself yet, but i was thinking a table spoon or two of bicarb and leaving for a few days. i put bicarb in a bowl in the fridge and it does the trick at keeping the smells at bay.

Thanks very much for that, will try it when i get some bicarb.
  • Remember Tesco's have most of their sauces for pasta and casseroles, cooking oils(vegetables/olive oil)and lots of Christmas items at half price.

    Xmas Saver!
I know it is not stock cupboard,
but has anyone noticed the price of Pringles this year? £2.49 a tub
They only last 5 minutes in my house once opened. Unless they go on a VERY GOOD offer somewhere, we will not be having them this Christmas. :(

Morrisons have then 2 for £4, but that is still a bit much for me.
  • I buy the stackers in Aldi and they are just the same as Pringles.
DD and all her friends say that there really is no difference and at 85p a tub they are a bargain.
Asda are doing them at £1.50 a tub if you must have Pringles
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

red pringles (and only pringles) are one of the few things DS3 will happily eat so when they're on offer we buy about 20 boxes! We've had a good run this year as they've been on offer at MrS,MrT and co-op lol they're very crafty and don't tend to put them on after october much as I suppose they sell well due to halloween parties and xmas.

Thanks for the tips on Mr S' deals much appreciated :D

:) If you have access to a 99P Store, check out their crisps section. They nearly always have Pringles, but typically only one variety at a time and with instructions in something foriegn.(Turkish? Who knows?). Howsomever, I can be trusted to scarf a Pringle without reading the directions. HTH.:)
