 It's almost a month since I've been on here?! A month????? :o Soooo sorry peeps! With things at work having changed a bit, I'm finding it harder to find the time to get onto MSE.

 to lucky, Robin, Skint, Uni and Bad Weather :D Thank you all for posting and not forgetting about me :):)

So what's been happening?? Jeepers I've to go back a fair bit...

Kitchen done and dusted. Finally got the lights up yesterday and the whole thing looks absolutely amazing! The living room is now officially redundant, unless we're watching a film. The kitchen is the place to be. The wee sofa bed we got for in there never gets a minutes peace! We all absolutely love it! OH and I are both house proud, but I'm a bit OCD about the kitchen!! I'm sure it'll wear off eventually! :rotfl:

Family still being weird but that's just how it's gonna be I think. 'Whatever' ;):)

When I woke Monday morning last week at 6am I had 3 missed calls from mum  Panic mode! Dad had woken up with really bad chest pains, although he knew from the pain that it was different from a heart attack. Trip to A&E via ambulance, ECG, xray, a hospital lunch, and he was sent back home with painkillers. Seemingly it was muscular, possibly delayed reaction from overdoing something on the farm on the Friday, but he's taking things easy at home now :) Told him not to be making a habit out of heading to hospital, nor is he to be trying out every ward in there either! lol :) But sooo glad he's ok :D

Wee day out on Saturday with OH to see Giro d'Italia. Was great to watch, even though it was over in a few minutes. Very impressive. And def puts you in the notion of getting back on the bike again :)

This week is the NW200 again. Can't believe a year has gone past already. Heading to the race on Saturday with OH and DD3. Will be keeping an eye out for Guy again, Lucky ;)

Work is going grand. Not enjoying my main job at all. So monotonous and I suppose a bit of the 'unknown' hanging over my head. Due my review this week so will find out if they're permanently keeping me at my 3 days or not. Other new part time job is going well. Really well actually. Enjoying it. Good craic with the other staff. Boss is more than happy to hand me over quite a lot of stuff and let me work away :) Nice to be appreciated!

££ is so-so. Trying to be good but slipping up every now and then. But honestly? Life is too short to be counting every single penny, and life is for living. If I see something I want I'm going for it. Within reason obviously! I've been out for dinner 3 times in 1 week, and I have no regrets at all (plus there's always weeks go by when I see nobody and do nothing!! lol)

How is everybody? Will try to get round a few diaries now :)

    Absolutely will do, Lucky ;):D
Sposed to be going on Saturday to the races, but if the forecast is bad they'll be racing tomorrow instead, which means I'll miss it! :o Although what I could maybe do is head over for an hour at lunch as they're not far away really, and at least I'd get to see a wee bit of them. Here's hoping!!!

And some news from me - I have handed in my notice to the monotonous-main-job people, as the new part-time-fill-in-job people will take me on full time! :j Soooo over the moon about it. Things have worked out really well!! Also nice too that it's not a huge leap from one job to another. I know the place, I know the people, I know the job, and I know what I'm letting myself in for ()

    Thanks all :D:D

After today I will have 22.5 hours of this place left :eek:party0002.gif
Looking forward to starting new job full time on 2nd June. I'll be getting slightly less £ per hour in the new job, but considering I'll get an extra 15 mins at lunch, plus a short afternoon tea break, it's technically a pay rise! ;):D
Not sure either how often I'll get on to MSE when I change jobs, but will get online as and when I can :)

Was at the NW200 last Saturday. This picture is for you lucky ;)

Unfortunately there was a very bad accident :(:( Very sad for the family and friends.

All else is good with me. I've been out for dinner 4 times in the last 3 weeks, and I'm out again this weekend! It's usually cheap and cheerful so not too painful on the wallet thankfully. Plus OH has paid twice! ;)

Only a few more weeks and me and OH will be heading away for a night. We've booked into the luxurious 5* Premier Inn for a whopping £29 :rotfl: Really looking forward to that too. Think we need a wee night away just us at the minute :o

Hope everybody is well. Keep smiling :D

I love the biking! OH and I went to Isle of Man TT last year and are just back from the British superbikes - love a bit of guy and josh brookes! :o

We actually met the guy who died recently who was out shopping with his wife at the TT - sooo sad! But my OH loves biking and he says the best way to go woudl be to die doing something you love!

Erm sorry for getting a bit morbid!
