Ooooh lots of visitors to my diary
:D Hello everyone!!!
Yeah so pleased about the job!Timing couldn't have been better either. Announcement yesterday that more jobs are going where I'm currently at!
There's a lot of upset and anger with staff at the minute, understandably. Thankfully my 3 days are 'secure' for now, but for how long I wouldn't even hazard a guess! My thoughts are that I'd be safer on the Titanic!
:(
Had a job interview yesterday, and another one next week too! Both are seasonal so not really ideal, but the way this company is going....!
Start my new job on Tuesday. Looking forward to it. The boss is such a gentleman and there seems to be a really homey/friendly atmosphere about the place, both with staff and customers
Lilt - get those 2 things on ebay. And send me the link for the handbag so I get first dibs
Millionaires overnight?? I wish!! I've made the decision that I'm going to have to ditch both the credit card and the bank card as of now. It's a nightmare trying to keep track of spending, excel or no excel, and I'm not keeping tabs enough on how much I'm spending each week/month. So. Decision made. Cash from now onYou's may wish me luck :rotfl:
Lucky - Thanks! Been reading up on the hotel since, and reviews are making it go down on TripAdvisor, rather than up!! Actually emailed the hotel, referred to the comments and photos, and asked if they could guarantee 4* hotel, with 4* service, food, etc!! :rotfl: Got a reply and they're looking forward to seeing me at the end of March!!
Skint - three's? That mean I'm up for a lottery win? Or is the 3rd good thing the fact that I'm fit and healthy (not counting this mornings sausage roll!), it's Friday and the sun is shining?:)
Thanks Uni. Any progress on your end? I'll nip round the diaries now so hopefully I'll read good news on yours
Didn't find anything at mums to ebay, just heaps of (embarrassing!) photos!lol. Managed to clear all the stuff one way or another, so that's her happy! Had the MSE head on me too and managed to sort out a bit of discount on her phone/broadband deal with BT :T
Fairly quiet weekend ahead. If weather stays dry I'll get out for a run this afternoon. Chill out tonight. Tomorrow I'll likely head to visit my sister and friend, but that'll take most of the day coz it's 1+ hours drive each way. OH may amuse himself while I'm gone. Actually thinking now I might take OH out for breakfast in the morning seeing as we didn't get out for dinner last week....
And long story very short. Bought the new Davina DVD off ebay. Got it. Realised it was fake (yet almost full RRP???) Contacted seller. They said it wasn't copy. I disagreed. Asked for contact details of distributor like they offered. No communication from them til I left negative feedback. Then they tried to bribe me £20 to change my feedback to positive!!!! That seriously got my back up. So seller reported. Item reported. Contacted the DVD production company who put me on through to BBC Worldwide Ltd. They confirmed DVD was fake and all under investigation. Meantime production company sent me 2 (yes 2!) brand new copies of the DVD, extra one for a friend!

Sorry to hear that uni
Busy week for me this week: start new PT job tomorrow (excited!!:D), also have an interview tomorrow and Wednesday, and still waiting to hear back from interview last week!
Friday, I went for a run after work. I actually slapped an extra mile (!!) on to my usual 2.5 mile run... and I DID IT!!!!!!:j:T:D So proud of myself!!!
Yesterday me and OH went for a loooong cycle from Bushmills to the Giants Causeway, round the cliffs and past Runkerry House back to the car. Couple of stops but took us guts of hour and half. Lovely trip out!
Took girls for hot chocolate last night to Bob and Berts. Was nice to hang out
Sorry for short entry. Short on time today!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -

WELL DONE on reporting that ebay seller! And that is amazing that the company gave you TWO dvds! So many people would have taken the money but you did the right thing so in future less people will not be ripped off! Good on you - that is a big deal!
Good luck for the job - fingers and toes crossed for you! x0 -
Hi all
Thanks for all the good wishes!I am very pleased to say the new job is going really well!
To be honest I would really need more hours there to get all the work done, but will leave it as is for the time being. My first payday today :j:j Long may it continue!
Have completely lost track of ebay sales, as I've no idea as to when I tallied up to, so can't update until I trawl through my paypal account!
All going well at home with OH and the girlsNo dramas recently which is also good!
Ditched the credit card a couple weeks ago, so only have last months purchases to pay off, then it's cleared :T Working with cash only at the minute and it's soooooo much easier to keep a track! Cashback is great, yeah, but I would need to have a very small, very strict limit in place on the card. I could do that, but would also like to have the card as a 'just in case' card too (i.e. summer holiday)
2 new car tyres need to be got unfortunatelyThat'll set us back £180-£200 likely, so the guts of £100 I need for that.
Also getting new kitchen delivered in a couple of weeks! :j Have managed to get another quote for fitting, so saving us even more money again! Yay! :T
Will try to get round all the diaries now. Apologies if I don't get to reply properly to everyone, it may be just short and sweet! Finding I don't have the same time available any more with the two jobs!
Keep smilingWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Even when you do have the "time" it can be difficult to keep up HAW! So glad payday was fun but gutted that the car is swallowing so much money!!!
Hugs!!! X
