Hi all

Sorry for my absence! Combination of being flat out at work and socially. Makes a nice change!

Yes I did dress up, Lucky. The 'I-look-like-a-sack-of-potatoes-catsuit' was ditched last minute (thankfully!!) in favour of a spirit girl outfit OH went as spiderman. He sure turned a few heads (male and female!! :eek:) Had an absolutely brilliant night, more so coz of the hectic week at work I'd had.

Got my watch returned and a replacement sent in speedy time. It's so gorgeous I just love it! Glad I treated myself!

Although my only problem is TCB. It tracked the purchase no problem. But I'm guessing coz my watch was 'returned' they cancelled it again! :mad: Have opened a case so hopefully it gets sorted!

My Talk Talk case is still open, but I can see the figure has gone from 'pending' to 'confirmed'. Have to keep an eye on that one.

Ordered almost 250 photos today via Snapfish. New customer so 20 free prints. Got a code on TCB for buy 50 get 100 free. And another code (but had to do a second order so double postage) for 50 prints for 1p each! So 250 prints, inc postage, for just over £11!!

On the spending front, I haven't been too bad with the big stuff, but seem to be buying groceries/toiletries every other day And here's today again I have to stop on way home for carrots! So long as I keep spending to needs not wants then I can't say much!!

How is everybody doing? Going to nip round a few diaries here when I've a chance and say hi

Been AWOL again sorry!! Everybody well?

Have (thankfully!) managed to keep spending down On the odd occasion, for eg Saturday, I've been in shops, bought stuff, then taken it back the next day I'm actually getting good at it! There were a few 'needs' here and there so have shopped about and spent as little as possible.

Things going well at home. Appointment with mortgage advisor tomorrow with OH to talk ££ and see what options we may have atm. Exciting

Still no word on SIL. Think that seems to be over and done with Which is really sad. That's 4 close 'friends' who are no longer

Other than that, I'm keeping positive about life in general I discuss things with OH as and when the need arises. Life is getting a little bit easier!

Had a great time away with OH for his birthday I kinda spoilt him a bit :) But I like fussing over him!! lol. Also had a really good time with my sister last weekend. Long overdue visit!

Finally gave in and ordered myself a copy of The Art of Being Brilliant. I borrowed it from the library last year, and it helped me. I think it would be beneficial to me to have my own copy now

NVQ is now sitting at 86%. I spend a few hours on a unit, submit it, and think it'll bump me up another 5-10%. No. Apparently not. The last one only gave me 3%! I was gutted!!!
