Everyone seems to be having hectic weekends these days! I'm a fan of the 'back to work for a rest' phrase
:)
Lots of nightmares going on these days too! I've had 3 this last week, OH has had a couple, and DD3 mentioned one this morning! Lucky: I know you've been up all night with DS recently tooHopefully that's them all over with now! Signs of lack of sleep and too much thinking are showing on me :o:)
NVQ now at 66%! All knowledge stuff submitted and all grand!Got one reflective account done this morning, and the tutor was able to cross reference it with another unit, so that's good. Will try to get more of that done in the next couple of weeks
OH has his boys night out for his birthday sorted now too. Him and 4 mates are heading to Belfast for the night. They've booked into the Ibis which is dirt cheap, but they just need somewhere to flake out!!
I ain't staying home alone, so I'm heading to my sisters on the Sat a.m. and stay the night. Looking forward to that
Unix, my friend lives near Falkirk actually. Where are you?She was an absolute gem the last time I visited and picked me up and dropped me off at the airport! :A I've no problem getting trains out to hers, and have done before, but I think when I'm only over for such a short time she was saving precious time
Spending is kinda getting outta handI spend all on my credit card (for the cashback), then pay it off in full. Which is grand so far, but to be honest, I'm spending more than I'm earning at the minute, probably because I spent the last year doing without and putting it in savings. I've just gone a bit  now!! :rotfl: Really gotta get myself in check asap!
...says me who is meeting her friend at lunchBUT I'm only getting a coffee! Have already made (and eaten!) my lunch!
EDIT:
70% completed!! Woohoo!!:D

Sorry to hear about your nightmares, agreed they are a pain in the derriere!
Sounds like you have lots of nice things to look forward to though XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

They can indeed
Came across this today which chat about why we dream certain stuff, rather than the meaning. Although it is the Daily Fail so wouldn't take it as gospel
Yeah, you're right actually. I do have stuff to look forward to(inc pizza later!
:rotfl:) Seriously though. Things are going well at the minute and I can't complain

HAW, I'm 15 min drive from Falkirk. My good friend who is hosting the halloween party lives in Falkirk.
On spending front, I know what you mean. I try to keep a spending diary but I'm also have a cashback cc (Beast from the name of my diary) so I'm trying to balance spending on there and paying it back. Are you spending more at the moment on essentials for winter/christmas or on luxuries? Theres a craft fair on in a few weeks and I know I'll be tempted to spend a lot of money but think I'll just stick to essentials. I save £2 coins and in june it gets emptied to spend on holiday with my Mum (OH gets left at home), then I save again till the craft fair and use it for that. I have £90. Determined not to go over that. Still waiting to hear about my job and whether they are renewing me...... keep your fingers crossed!!!!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
unix: The world is getting smaller! lol. Friend is in Denny. Haven't heard back from her ref dates yet so nothing booked.
OH and me have been invited to a halloween party next Friday night. I'm assuming it's fancy dress as OHs mate didn't actually say when he was on the phone. So do I or don't I?!?
My money is mostly being spent on 'stuff-I-could-really-do-without' unfortunatelyThe few clothes I've bought I've taken back which is good!
Have completely lost track of NSDs this month. I think I've managed 3 or 4 which is pathetic actually!Just been so much going on in and out of work I haven't been concentrating or keeping track.
Did spend rather a lot on a new watch. It's absolutely beaooooootiful! But is was very much a 'want' not 'need'. Plus the fact I'm sure I could've found a cheaper alternative
But seeing as I've treated myself to the watch, I have to stop buying all the other stuff. Gotta be stricter.
Haven't thought about crimbo yet. Other than the fact it appears I've another person striked off my list completely
Have read the latest post on your diary unix :j:D
I think pretty much everything else is going a-o-k! Just taking one day at a time
Hope everyone is doing okWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Hi HAW, thought I would pop by and subscribe
You brought a watch, naughtyI hope it is a good one, I love watches too, I currently have a lovely bright green one, not too fancy but a pressie and special.
I always count returning stuff as earning money, is that wrong? He he.
Your totally right about one day at a time, take it easy.
You should absolutely dress up, any ideas?

Hello and welcome  Thanks for popping in!
Yes very naughty of me!Google 'NY8502' and you'll see it. Have actually sent it back as there were a couple of wee visual flaws on it. I would understand if it cost £30 outta Argos, but for the price I paid I expect perfection
:D
Hmmm earning money on returns? Very clever :rotfl: Not sure if I could work that though. I'd be thinking I had extra money to spend
Don't think any of the outfits I've got would be appropriate somehow :rotfl:;):D

Thanks HAW

We're still waiting to find out about my renewal at work but I've applied for other things as well. Fingers crossed.
I googled your watch, it looks lovely! But for any price if its not perfect take it back.
As for your costume what about a character from a film? Or a fortune teller, vampire, I knew one girl who went to a fancy dress party wearing jeans, a white t-shirt with a question mark on it and a black mask. When people asked her what she was, she said 'guess' :rotfl:.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. unix:
Fingers crossed ref work too! Hope it all works out ok!
Just have to wait to hear from them that they'll refund or whatever, then I can order a replacement. Hurry up!!!!!
:rotfl: Love the 'guess' outfit! I think I could manage that ok!! There's a halloween shop in town so will have a nosey in there to get ideas, then look on ebay to get it for a half the price!!
Hi lucky. Yeah I'm ok. Was more worried about the knock-on effects it would have, but so far it seems to be ok. Will just take things as they comeWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0
