Guess we have to wait a bit longer....
I've a pair of double layer socks for hiking, and they're a great invention! Can only find them by Trekmates, but on ebay as they're not on their site. Amazon don't have them. Found pairs in TK Maxx actually, but didn't think OH would appreciate pink/purple socks!:o

Hate being kept in suspense!!!
Hello allEveryone well?
So much for missing SIL! Lunch went well, but ended up coming away feeling negative about so much stuff it is not healthy! Gonna have to keep her at arms length for a while I think
Spending too much again. Well, not heaps of ££, just little ££ but often! Which soon add up obviously!
So far have over £12 cash back earned on my credit card spendingThat's in 3 or 4 months I think? They pay out once a year as far as I know (Nationwide - anyone else know?!) Nice to see a wee bit of interest gathering on my current account at the same time, so plan seems to have worked
Have ordered a wireless keyboard (inc touch pad) and the socks for OH. Hope they 'work'. If not, hopefully they'll fit me coz I like them!! lol.
All else quiet with me at the minute
EDIT:
Got my answer!Enjoy your cashback earnings - Your cashback earnings will be credited back to your account each DecemberWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -

Thanks unix. My mum has one of those. I find it blummin murder on my back mainly I think because I broke/fractured several of the bones in my spine when I was much much younger so there is a lot of scar tissue from the healing. It always feels like I am being crunched to death although I did quite enjoy one of those ones they have in the cinema recently! And that pretty much beat me up, leg restraints and all!!!HeadAboveWater wrote: »I've a pair of double layer socks for hiking, and they're a great invention! I have some 'skating' socks which have added support and pretection on all the usual areas of rubbing. I did used to be heavily into my bauer skates but I've grown out of it more now I am a bit older. I was a bit of an Avril Lavigne in my youthalso, try those blister patches, 'compeed' are much better than the scholl ones. Use them as preventatives rather than cures and if using on OH make sure he shaves the area around his ankle before applying. My OH screams blue murder when I have to rip his off!!

At least SIL instigated the most recent meetings and contact I suppose. If you come away feeling negative about you or anything in your own life, something has gone wrong though. That's not a friendship! And wonder what her reasons are for trying to make you feel bad. Hate to say this since I am one, but I never get on all that well with women. Find them much too mcuh hard work. Ironically most of my closest friends currently are women, but they are hand picked and 'mummy' friends so there is less pressure on me... and more on what my daughter is wearing.. hmm. Anyway I think time apart would be wise.
Nice to hear you managed a bit of contact with your sister. Little and not so often may be the way... then you can see your nieces & nephews..
I hear you on the spending. I really have stacked it in the last few months. Hence why my diary has lain dormant.. Really need to pick it back up. I've been entering my spending onto an app on my phone again so hoping this makes me more sensible. I at least know how much each of my accounts needs a month for the DD's they have!!
Yay for keyboard :0 and socks. Hope it works!!! xx

Huh?!?
Thanks for the tip on the blister patches, lilt, but OH doesn't grow hair on the soles of his feet so no shaving required!:rotfl: One rather huge blister on the ball of one foot, then on the other foot it was the underside of his wee toe
All ok now thankfully. And socks should be here today/tomorrow in plenty time for next time!

Agree 100% with all what you wrote. Women can be bi-atches unfortunately, and I've always found guys easier to get along with. Life is tough enough without having others dragging you down!
I had 3 'friends' in the last 6 years who I've had to let go of. Makes me very reluctant to trust anyone else when you find it gets thrown back in your face after so longliltdiddylilt wrote: »Nice to hear you managed a bit of contact with your sister. Get back on your diary again missus! Mine is something of a 'confession' diary, so helps to keep me on track!Helps to offload on other random stuff too
Good you're keeping track of your spending though. Does help when you can see what is/isn't available for spending.
Keyboard arrived yesterday. Weighs next to nothing. Built in touch pad so saves having to struggle with a mouse when sitting comfy on the sofa. Plugged it in, and it worked straight away! Yay! :j
Mum rang this morning so meeting her at lunch. I'm thinking it's her turn to buy coffee if I remember right!:D Have a gorgeous yummy salad with me for my lunch too, but will have that before I meet her.
Glad it's Friday. No plans as yet for the weekend. Hopefully (finally!) manage to stream a film tonight. Have spent that long getting laptop/internet/cables sorted, OH is getting fed up! lol
Have a great day & weekend everyoneWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
