Lilt, I got one of those chair massage gadgets last christmas. Have you tried those? They're not that expensive now and they really do help. I get problems with my back and shoulder (smashed it in an accident).

HAW, Tesco do wireless keyboards quite cheap or go to PC world and they'll let you try one. They also do price match if you ask nicely :D.
    Off to update my diary.

  • Welcome back lilt. Long time no 'see' ;):D

I think you should go for whatever treatment you can! You are paying NI after all ;) I've had a not-so-gentle deep tissue massage and it was absolute bliss! I do prefer it a bit rougher though coz then it feels like it's actually doing some good. Unless I'm trying to relax in which case the hot stone was perfect.

I know! I would be absolutely over the moon if Connor came first! I don't think I've anything left that isn't already crossed!! :o

Night away from OH was fine :) It's not a regular occurrence thankfully (despite OH having different ideas at the start ;)) I think what I find makes it easier is that I'm away out of the normal routine/places so I've plenty of distractions. If/when it comes to a night or more that OH is away and I'm lying in 'our' bed on my own, I know I'll find that really tough :(
I'm sure it was a big relief to have OH finally moving in with you! :D Would his parents be 'old fashioned'? I've yet to tell my mum I'm moving in with OH, and I've been here coming up on 2 years :o:rotfl:

Talk talk is fine for my Xperia and my laptop. There are 3x iPhones in the house and they're all having bother. They can connect to the router no problem, but can't get on to the internet. TT changed the channel setting yesterday to see if that helped - it didn't. Not sure what to try next... :( It does seem to be a common problem so can't figure out why they don't have a fix for it!! Maybe TT doesn't like more than one person connected. Which is ridiculous when there are 5 people living in our house....
    Meantime I'm paying for 2x broadbands... :(

I was always a 'normal' phone person. Was only March this year before I managed to drag myself into the touch screen world. Wouldn't go back again!! Love my wee Xperia. Bought it straight out so no contract which is great. Only pay my £11 per month for SIM only :)

Monday evening went well thank you :)

    Hi unix :)

Chair sounds like fun! Wonder would I be allowed one at work... ;):D Are they nice and gentle that they would put you to sleep, or do you feel like you're sitting inside a rocket going into space?! They're probably adjustable come to think of it! :o

Oh thanks for that. Will have a look on their websites now and see what I can come across. There's always TCB if I order online too.

Just need to make sure I'm keeping TT in before I splash out on new hardware right enough...

Tuesday :D Glad Monday is over! Onwards and upwards! Think it's def coffee and muffin time :D Hope you all have a good day! :)

  • You get different versions of it HAW. I'll look for it later and post a link. But mine came from Menkind (gadget store) and was about £40, they do cheaper ones or more expensive ones. Mine does full back and shoulder massage, upper back, lower back and optional heat. Think some of the other ones you can vary the setting intensity.

  • Bless you lilt and HAW for your kind hopes re Connor winning. Unfortunately they seem in no rush to decide. I emailed them yesterday and got the following response

    Dear PLMBL

The next stage involves Michelle choosing the winner, which she will do in the next couple of weeks although there's no set date for this.

As soon as she's chosen her winner, I'll be in touch.

Congrats to Connor for getting this far, and in first place, brilliant!

So just have to watch and wait!! Xx

  • If you have the link, unix, that would be great :) I'm just wondering if OH would appreciate one of those... He's got a gammy shoulder, gammy arms, and a gammy back :o

Still waiting lucky!! :p Happy birthday (again!) to you yesterday, and Connor today :D

56% of NVQ completed *sigh* That figure is moving sooooo slowly.... :p

Have managed a few NSDs this week which is brilliant! :D Seeing lots of 'nice' things when I'm in town at lunch, but managing to resist temptation thankfully! They are all wants not needs!

Having a look about for a hotel for me and OH for his birthday, and have come across a couple of reeeeeally nice ones at very good prices. I doubt very much he'll have any particular destination in mind. Esp considering it will be November so have to assume the weather will be pants! :o:rotfl:

Still waiting on TT getting sorted! Seemingly by their forums, the router I've got and Apple products just do not get on. A firmware update should sort the problem out, so waiting on that at the minute. Fingers crossed it works!

Been trying to get xmbc sorted but it's a nightmare  Can get it installed no bother. But when trying to install the fusion/hubwizard add-ons I keep getting a script error. It's driving me batsy emo11.gif

Zumba tonight!! Let's get ready to parteeeeeeeeeeee jumping0047.gif

  • Zumba was fab as always!! :) Buzzing as soon as work finished, and never stops til about 2 hours after I leave class!!! :D:D

Found a couple of hotels which I think would be great for OHs birthday. Decent prices and good locations. Not far to travel either (which is ideal if it's only going to be one night) I may chat nicely to him and see if he'd consider going on the Friday evening possibly... Have to show him the hotels and let him pick :)

TT still not replied to my post on their forum, but judging by other threads, it seems to take on average 2.5 days to reply, so any minute now.... :p

Having one of those days today :o Feeling caught between a rock and a hard place, so just wanting to get work over so I can go home and hopefully sort things out! :o:)

TCB have submitted my claim to TT so hopefully I get the extra money I'm due :) Will pay for 1/2 of the years line rental I paid up front!! ;):D

Hope everyone is well and enjoying all the birthdays! :D

Happy Friday and have a fantastic weekend :D

  • They need to get their finger out, customer service isnt the best then!

Know that feeling I just want the weekend to start. 2 hours to go.
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Hello :D

At some point over the weekend the firmware was updated on the router, and all seems to be hunky dorey - for now :D Long may it last!

Rang 3 yesterday to cancel the mobile broadband. After offers of free laptops and iPads, and my repeated 'I just want to cancel', 10 mins and 41 seconds later, I hung up the phone. I've 30 days notice to give which is spot on. A month of broadband I've to pay for but we're not using but hey ho! They're apparently giving me 10% discount for being loyal for several years :D

Once I've it cancelled, I'll sell the MiFi on ebay - they're going for approx £20ish :)

TCB claim has been submitted to the merchant, so hopefully that gets sorted ok!

Went for a LONG walk with OH at the weekend. 12+ miles!! Thankfully I've been grand, however OHs feet have been suffering ever since :o:rotfl::D Have ordered a couple pairs of Trekmates 'anti blister' socks for him which hopefully will help in future! His blistered foot reminded me of the dude in Run Fat Boy on Saturday night

Sunday was a fairly lazy day :)

NVQ yesterday and I got a few bits submitted :D

Lunch out with SIL today :D Have missed her! :o

Managed at 10 min convo on Sunday evening with big sister and the kids. Kinda struggled though it and it was a bit awkward, but will get there. Thinkin

    Still no results lucky?
