how many more units to go HAW? and well done on using the fake tan rather than buying more!Must use my stash up!0

I'm trying to use up stuff too HAW (I'm finding stuff I didn't know I had!). If you ever have fake tan thats too dark, mix in a little of your normal face cream with it before putting it on it'll tone it down. What is it you're studying?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hello
I'm doing Business Admin L3. I've 2 (I think!) units that I need to submit for the 'understand' bit, but still most of the 'be able to' parts to complete. I've had one observation done at work so far. Then a load of written summaries to cover the rest still
Will have a full ApprenticeshipNI certificate when I'm done (I've already completed the Technical Certificate exams and passed, and got my Maths and English at school)
Gotta keep the head down and keep plodding on....
Pleased with the results of the tanShowered twice and I can still see it on my tummy! lol. Still seems a decent colour. Will take your tip ref mixing on board unix - thank you!
Using a wee facial mitt too for applying so shouldn't go on too thick!
Always good to use up stuff! The amount of gift sets and the likes with soaps, shower gels, cream, lotions and potions is unreal! I've managed to get through quite a lot in the last couple years. Know I've still a couple of 'almost' empty bottles of stuff at mums. Really need a good clear out!
HDMI cable arrived yesterday, so last night tried hooking up the laptop and TV. Success!! :j:j (after having to faff about with the sound though) Proud as punch with myself for sorting it out all by myself!!:D OH, on the other hand, kept suggesting ringing one of his mates for advice , but I was adamant I was doing it myself!! :rotfl:
In 2 minds about what to do. I'm the only one in the house with a laptop. And to be honest it was my first 'big' purchase, and I'm rather protective/possessive about it. It's 5 years old, and other than 1 key missing it's immaculate. Not really fancying it residing in the living room for [STRIKE]anyone [/STRIKE] teenagers to use. So! I've thought on 2 options:
1. Buy a wee cheap/2nd hand laptop solely for the TV/films/streaming use
2. Detach my sentiments from the laptop, format, and have it as a family laptop
In a way the 2nd option would be best, just sad about it!!And to be right it's only fair considering OH is sharing his house, car, etc etc with me. A laptop isn't exactly much in comparison! Plus I was debating selling it a couple months ago because I don't use it!
Anyway, updated my virus and malware software this morning, and ran a quick scan. Malware picked up on 90 trojans!:eek::eek: My own fault for not updating regularly, but I'm rarely on laptop any more, it's always OH. But still, no excuse. It should be set to automatic.
Payday today so nice to see the bank balance upping temporarily at least!! lol. Was hoping for a NSD to hit my target, but forgot I'd booked an appointment to get my legs waxed :o
Zumba was brilliant last night! Had an absolute blast!!! Think I said in my post yesterday I'm usually jiggling about a bit when the music is on waiting for the class to start. Me and one of the other girls were bopping away, and then I had to stop coz I'd got a stitch!! And the class hadn't even started!!! :rotfl::rotfl: Bit over-keen there maybe....!!:D
Busy weekend ahead with the International Air Show. Hoping the weather holds up for it
How is everyone else on this *sunny/dull/wet/windy/rainy Friday morning?

In my opinion I'd keep your laptop, and buy a cheapy. I got a good cheapy on Amazon for under £100. It means then you have yours when you want it and not at the mercy of anyone else.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Quite probably the sensible-est thing to do
Will keep an eye out...
Think I'll need to do a complete overhaul of my laptop anyway! Maybe get stuck into sorting an up-to-date backup tonight and start the ball rolling.
Now at 53% of my NVQ completed! :j
Bummer though, coz I sat for 4-5ish hours yesterday working to submit a unit, and it only counts for 3%
*sigh* Will get there!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
