  • Just seen on your diary that he was back downstairs again! Hope he's ok soon :) And no stressing, you!! ;)

Yeah I think I did do the right thing ref sis/presents. For myself at least. Just not ready for anything more at the minute :o

lol :) Managed 1 survey yesterday as I was screened out of the rest. Whoopie! But if I could even manage 1 a day I'd be doing ok!! (Challenge?!) Just need to get back in the habit!!

Just the fit of the trousers I'm not sure about. But after googling yesterday to see what they're sposed to look like, I'm a bit more open minded :rotfl: Gotta try them on again now!!

Sold 2 outta 3 things on ebay :) Made the grand total of £5.60 + P&P which isn't loads but every little helps!

Dinner out tonight and CAN'T WAIT!! Dunno what I'm wearing yet. Have seen a gorgeous wee dress in Quiz which I've very tempted to at least try on!! ;):o Otherwise I've still got the wee dress I bought last month, or else a pair of very dressy Next trousers and blouse....

  • Love the look of the quiz dress! Think you should at least try it on! Have to admit I'm not sure on the trousers (probably because I always avoid anything that makes my mahoosive hips look even bigger!), but I'm sure they look good on you.

Well done for handling things with your sister. Hope you have a lovely meal out tonight Xx

PS, it's a free listing weekend this weekend coming if you have anything left to eb@y!

  • Dress was lovely on... but I didn't get it! Not today anyway. Would prefer a second opinion. And can only get a credit note rather than refund so prefer not to buy until sure.

Apparently the trousers did look well! And OH is really blunt when it comes to my clothes :p

Bought a much needed pair of trainers at lunch. Think I've had the last ones over 5 years. And they are really falling apart! Got a pair of karrimor that feel good on, but won't really know until I try running in them. Yet since checking reviews online, majority are saying to run a mile away from karrimor running shoes!! Now what?!??!?!?!

    Thanks Lucky :)

Will have a scrounge about the house for ebay....! ;)

HAW Dr KW got some Karrimor trainers and they lasted about three wears! We took them back to Sports D*rect (who bought Karrimor) and they were sniffy but all the reviews say that they are really poorly made these days.
    Must use my stash up!
  • Oh shoot :p:(

Dunno whether to try them out first or just take them back...

Been looking for new trainers for months. Seriously hard to find a decent looking pair that has NO pink in them!! (priorities obviously!! ha ha)

  • Hi r.e. trainers, I'm a runner with big feet for a girl! I have got two pairs of Brooks they are so comfy and supportive and no pink in sight! I get mine from sportshoes.com (no commission honest) as they have great prices.

  • Thanks for the link chrysalis :) Will have a look now. Do prefer to see and try shoes on before buying, rather than buying online. Did see that website mentioned a few times when I was researching karrimor (after buying the trainers obviously! :p)

Planning on not planning anything for the weekend :D Well, that's a lie actually. Weather permitting, I've suggested to OH about going camping Saturday night :eek:

Payday next week. About time too ;) So much for not spending this month :o:p

  • :rotfl: Either incredibly brave or incredibly insane!!! Or a bit of both?! :rotfl:

Oh yeah! Meal last night was YUMMY! :D For 7 people (4 adults and 3 kids), inc drinks (2 of which were alcoholic), the bill was just under £67!!:eek: Couldn't get over the price at all! Especially considering the amount of food we had to consume! In saying that, I think we got some extra sides we hadn't ordered so someone else likely went home hungry.... :rotfl: Brilliant wee night and everybody really enjoyed themselves :D
