Pleased to hear you sounding brighter today :T
I've had some of those laughing moments when I used to go out with DH. I've also had some crying in pain moments where I couldn't wait to get off the damn thing! Saddle sore anyone?! Worse than childbirth!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Evening all. HAW (;)) I really had to laugh at OH. Apparently your suggestion was enough. How come he is allowed to holiday without you but you aren't allowed the same? Maybe you should go on your own as well as the holiday with him... Even if only to keep him on his toes! Lol. I'm evil... But I do find it works wonders when I am independent of DH. He doesn't like not being needed hehehe!
The picture is beautiful. My dad told me he would break both my legs if I ever even got on a motorbike... So I used to meet up with a male friend in the local woods road & we would ride from there. Was petrified of my dad seeing me lol!
Childbirth is still way too fresh in my mind lucky..... :rotfl: 19 hours of induced labour. Never again.

Nah you will forget about it soon Lilt and do it all over again!:p
The saddle sore time I was thinking about was when DH borrowed a VRod from work and the 'pillion seat' was not much bigger than a teaspoon handle. We were out in a group and rode to Holy Island and back. When we pulled back in to our village I asked DH to stop and walked the rest of the way home coz I couldn't stay on a second longer. After striding home like John Wayne I soaked in the bath for hours and was still in pain for days afterwards.

I have yet to mention his biking trip in all of this. If I do he'll probably respond with a 'so that is what this holiday obsession is all about yadda yadda...' and then he'd throw a strop again!!
But I like your thinking lilt and I tend to agree. The friend I'm meeting tonight would be a possible contender for my holiday partner, so will maybe run it by her to see if it is a possibility. And then talk to OH againliltdiddylilt wrote: »My dad told me he would break both my legs if I ever even got on a motorbike... :rotfl: I'm sure you were a sight Lucky!
Aaaaaahhhhh nearly hometime!Hard to believe that this time next week the schools will all be finished for the summer  And then less than 2 weeks after that I'm off work... There are times I can see this holiday idea of mine just slipping away
But I'm determined I'm doing more throughout my holiday than just not going to work!!! I will go somewhere!!
Hope everyone is well and in happy form! Have a fantastic weekendSee you on the other side!

Yeah think we are different here. We always finish up by end of June. DD1 finished up Tech last week actually. Start back 1st Sept.
Mmmmm pizzaaaaaaaaaaaaa can't wait!
PS. Def am in good form today! I think I've had too much sugar actually, coz I went into a fit of giggles a wee while ago (had to leave the office) My friend has me medically diagnosed as 'mental':rotfl::D

Almost a week since I last posted! Where does the time go?!
Hmmmm.... Highlights of the past few days:
Friday night pizza was GOOD!We got the Asda meat feast and vegetarian, 2 for £4. Tasty, except for the bundle of mushrooms at the side of my plate when I was finished
:rotfl:
Saturday was yucky weather, so we had an easy day. Got to meet a couple of friends for coffee, neither of which I've seen in over 2 years. Was really good to catch up
Got 2 pairs of jeans in TK Maxx for total £27 (instead of approx £160!)
Sunday was another fairly lazy day. Just took the girls to the Port for a coffee/hot chocolate late afternoon.
Monday was just a typical Monday!Had my NVQ class again. Making slow progress, but it's progress none the less. Have the Tech Cert exams to do in 2 weeks time, but they're multiple [STRIKE]choice[/STRIKE] guess so hopefully pass that ok
Me and OH went out a run on the bike again Mon night. Was good fun! Little on the *ahem* fast side, but all good (except for the idiot at a roundabout who very nearly ran us over, but never mind!:mad:)
Last night me and OH went to see World War Z. Crazy Tuesday so £3 each to get inSurprisingly, I absolutely loved it! OH really enjoyed it too. Have to say it was a bit creepy at times, but def worth the watch
(and I'm not a zombie fan in the slightest!!)
Hump day today! And another NSD! Haven't been great this month at all unfortunately
Got my credit card last week, and have spent on it instead of my usual cash, slowly raking up the % cashback
Can't decide which is better: spend, for eg, £100 a week on the card and pay off the £100 weekly, or spend £100 a week and pay £400 in one lump sum? My idea on the second option is that 'my' money will stay in my bank account a bit longer gaining more interest. I guess it depends how strict I am with myself...
Payday on Friday :j
Another DD finished for the summer. 2 down 1 to go!! DD3 rang me this morning, seemingly just to brag it was the first day of her hols!! Bi-atch! :rotfl:
Still no holiday booked :( I've found a few really good deals: 7 nights, 4*, all inc, for less than £500!! OH still stalling(yet on Sunday at the Port he ran into a guy he knows and all he could blether about was the blasted biking trip :mad::mad:)
Yet, strangely enough, Monday night he asked me how I'd feel about a biking trip!! I assume along the same lines as what he's doing with the guys. I didn't even have to think about it and said 'absolutely!'He seems to think he needs this boys trip as 'practise' first though  I don't get that. He's been riding bikes longer than he's been driving...!
I will never, never, NEVER understand guys so have given up trying!!!
*sigh*
Anyway. What about everyone else? Spending? Saving? Sunning?Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Hello HAW seems you've had a really busy week! Well done on the bargain jeans!
I went to the cinema last week (first time in over a year!) and saw the new superman film.. Henry Cavill - Swoooooon!! :P really good tho!
I'm really really skint got £18 to last me until I get paid on the 5thThe milking is going well tho at the new farm and I'm loving it and all being well I'll have a full time job there very soon!!

I really didn't fancy World War Z but thinking it might be worth a watch now!
I don't understand men either, but at least he is TALKING about your trip now so still heading in the right direction! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
