Thanks PLMBL
Weekend turned out rather well thankfully! Had a couple of 'talks' which helped a lot! Spent Saturday in Belfast with SIL and her daughter. Then Sat evening me and OHs DD3 watched Epic Movie cuddled on the sofa. The day was exactly what I needed
Have spent money every day in March so far so need to get the head screwed on asap for the NSD challenge!! Finally managed to get myself a pair of glasses too  What a difference!!!!!!
Away off to catch up on everyone else's diaries now....
EDIT:
Passed the halfway mark on my FD target :j:j:jWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Congratulations!! :j
Remind me again what a FD target is?? Xx

First Direct! Their regular saver allows maximum £3600 to be saved over the 12 months, and you get 8% interest (approx £124 after tax) if you don't touch it at all
Originally for a house deposit. Now it's just the fact that I'm saving, regardless of what it's for!! :rotfl: 7 months down: 5 to go
:D (never had this much money in my life!!
lol)
More spending needed today!Got the girls shampoo and shower gel yesterday, but they didn't have the conditioner I normally get. Gotta go find something else today. They go through all that stuff in no time it's crazy
Ran out of electric last night so topped up using the Power NI app for the first time. Soooooooooooo handy! Plus as well as the 2.5% discount for using the keypad, they've launched a reward scheme. So we topped up £150 and got £4 free (max reward available!)Bit of a  parting with so much money in one go, but if we were getting a quarterly bill we'd be doing the same thing anyway!!
Still waiting on my New Look order being delivered to store so I can collect. Know I'll be returning minimum of 2 of the 5 items, probably 3, and possibly 4, so will get my money back for that stuff tooThink I'd be better off posting them as returns rather than getting a credit note in store... (paid via paypal)

Happy Friday! (at last!!)
Good week, although only got 1 NSD inMust. Try. Harder.
New Look order - will return the 3 tops I got. Not impressed with them. Wanted 1 gilet but may end up keeping both because they were on sale so technically BOGOF!!(am I trying to justify that to myself?!)
Went out for lunch today with a girl from work - was really nice to have a proper chat with someone different for a change!
Since our 'chat' last week, things have been rather pleasant at home with OH which is great!Long may it continue :rotfl: Yes, still the odd wee niggly thing but will kinda just have to deal with them if and when the need arises. Gotta stand up for myself and be strong
Not sure what plans are this weekend. Meant to be spending the day with OH tomorrow but no idea as to what. Drive/walk I imagineOH DD1 and 3 will not be going to their nans this Sat again
(btw, the
is in the fact that they're still fuming with their mum and don't want to know, rather than
that they'll be at home!!!!)
Mums day on Sunday. Will have to try to get out for a visit somehow. OH will need his car mid afternoon to pick DD2 up, which leaves morning and night. But mum and dad are big on church so they're always out at meetings. Which leaves me a seriously small window...
Only other option is if I can somehow convince OH to do something that direction tomorrow and we could call in for an hour (yeah right - in my dreams!)
Hmmmm will have to think about this one a bit more!
Hope everyone is doing good and looking forward to the weekendWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -

Appreciate that, PLMBLI did mention to 2 of them last night that it was Mothers Day on Sunday but I kinda just got a shrug of the shoulders in response
Hope you manage to figure something out Xx
Me too! It's been a while since I've been there and the last time I didn't really get to see Dad coz he was busy at the farm. I miss them sometimesChat quite often though so that's good!
So yeah. My findings from this last week is to talk things out more with OH, and have more 'me' time! (and prove to OH I CAN have a life of my own and I'm not joined with him at the hip like he thinks I am!!)
I think I can manage that!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -

Ooooh I'm having a bit of a 'soppy' day (coz I dunno what else to call it!!) Just sent a wee text through to the very special people in my life to tell them I love them and thanks for always being there for me
Want them to know they're appreciated if you get me. I'm such a sap!
