New cat litter to try????

Same for me, I keep finding bits all over the kitchen and the dining room, but it's no different than the old stuff in that respect so I'm not too bothered. It's so much better in all other ways - no dust, lasts for an age (I've changed it once so far and that was only because I spilled water in it when trying to change the carbon filter), there's very little waste so it's really economical and there's no smells at all.
One huge drawback though - I will NEVER be able to eat a Rice Crispy cake again.0 -
Glad I'm not alone ....... forgot to say that I'm not having any problems with dust either which was one of my reasons for not trying it before.
The tracking my be slightly worse for me as I didn't really have any before but it's much more economical so ...... thumbs up still!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

after using it a while now i don't like it as much as oko. when i empty the trays i ogten have to scrape cemented on litter off the base. it is harder to remove individual wee clumps and cats seem to track it everywhere!!! i won't be buying it again!0

I agree - I'm using a bit more than I normally would now, just to use it up so I can go back to OKO which takes 20% of the time to remove the waste from the trays as compared to this. And when you remove the waste as often as I do with 5 cats, all that time adds up :rotfl: Glad I tried it though, I don't believe in being blinkered0 -
mmmm I think when I've finished this lot I may just try Oko - just to see what everyone's raving about of course!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Well, that's it, I've had enough of walking barefoot over bits of kitty litter trailed all over the house.
And... for gawd sake... no-one should wake up to find the bloomin' stuff on their pillow ... I mean....
So, no more Tigerino for me - I'm off to find a good clumping litter that doesn't track all over the house.
Any ideas PLEASE.:hello:0 -

I find that both Tigerino and OKO track in the vicinity of the trays, but NOT all over the house and I certainly don't find it in my bed, despite the fact that the cats do sleep there sometimes in the daytime. The reason mine doesn't track as much as others is perhaps because I have these at the entrance/exit to each tray which catch a good proportion of the tracked litter ( I then just empty it back into the tray at regular intervals) (which equates to when I can be bothered/when I remember :rotfl:)0 -
Oh, let me tell you... I have tried and still use a whole host of mats to grab the stuff - it just seems to spread no matter what.
It's got to the stage that there's more mats than lino... that can't be right. I need to get my floor space back.
Oh, and sleep in a litter free bed - now, surely that's not too much to ask for!

I hate the tracking of bith Oko and Tigerino too- with or without mats. Same thing -0 bed, kitchen worktops - everywhere.
I wish I could afford to go back to this one:

But the cats were going through 1 bag per week so .. £40 per month on cat litter way too much - I guess with one cat a bag would of course last much longer..0 -

I've got two old girls - one who will ONLY go to the loo inside.
£40 a month though vs litter free bed = I'm seriously considering it.
