New cat litter to try????

Well - it's arrived already!:j (ordered Thurs night & delivered on a Sat - funny as the last one I got delivered to DMs also came on Sat - usually you have to pay more for that!).
It was left on the doorstep - I was in but mustn't have heard the doorbell:o.
Had to take Maisie to the vet this morning (sorry if TMI but she has trouble with her anal glands, poor lamb - not pleasant!) and was exhausted when I got back (1st time out for a week - I've had flu - and, it honestly was flu & not the cold as I literally couldn't do anything).
Anyway, practically passed out when I got home for nearly 2 hours - must've been a really deep sleep not to hear the doorbell!:o
Have just refilled one tray with the rest of the Tigerino so that'll last around 10 days (but I'm too impatient to wait that long!!!!). Might just have to try the Biokat in the other tray (currently using up the wood pellets in that!).
Still have loads of Tigerino left so will be using that a while yet - I'll put the big bag I've got left away for the emergency winter snowed in supply .... so that's one thing ticked off that list!:)
Will report back on the Biokat!;)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Nearly two months and I've still not finished the first bag of Tigerino. Had to do two complete changes early because she became a bit ill but I'm really impressed at how long it's lasted. Really contains the smell too.
I've just bought a catit scoop and it's like a bloody shovel - it's huge. Makes doing the trays so quick and easy.0 -
Ohhhh newkitten if it wasn't for the tracking:eek: ......... everything else is perfect with it!:)
Well the Biokat is in - it does have quite a strong smell & was worried the cats wouldn't go in it ...... but wee cat was in the beeping tray before I'd even finished filling it :rotfl:so it has been christened!:rotfl:
Hope it lasts a long time once it's in as I used a lot of the bag filling the tray (which is extra large....). And it's beeping heavy! I couldn't even move the box so had to unpack it on the doorstep & still struggled to lift one bag- poor delivery man!:(

Good luck with the Biokat! I am free of Tigerino! I did have one final tray of it and two of OKO up until Friday, but then a full change was required, so I am now back to 3 trays of OKO! Yay! Takes half the time to empty the waste0

That's because you bought so much of it, they were scared they were going to run out :rotfl: I only bought 1 lot of however much it was (40L??)0 -
I had 3 lots so 3x big bags and 3 times small bags.
No, was net scared they will run out - just had the money at the time so ordered in bulk....
it works, if someone can put up with tracking like helll - for the price it is brilliant
but as soon as i can afford to - back to golden grey or biocat like a shot0 -

OMG wish I'd found this years ago!:D
It is sooooooo easy to clean out - you stick the scoop in and all the sand falls through the scoop and you're left with a solid lump :j:j
Out of curiosity - how deep do you guys fill your trays?
It says 7-8 cm but prob not quite that deep and TBH I don't think my litter tray would be strong enough for any more (the handle def bent when I tried to lift it so it's being shuffled by my foot now :rotfl:).
BUT it was deep enough that the liquid didn't go all the way through which I guess makes it easier to clean out.
I got 2 x 15L for £14 so £7 / bag.
Lets see how long it lasts ....... if it's 3 weeks, it's def cheaper than wood pellets (but don't think I'd go back to these now anyway)gettingready wrote: »it works, if someone can put up with tracking like helll - for the price it is brilliant
Ohhh it does work & I really liked it ...... just the tracking!
The big bag has lasted me 8 weeks - at full price (2 x 30L = £32), that works out at £2 / week which is pretty good.
Let's see what the Biokat comes out at!:DGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
