I agree, as it is a massive loss making thorn, which is why I posted "A bank that was already incurring massive losses, could this be the end of RBS? Certainly could be the end of Ulster Bank, start shopping around folks! " in post #20.

However doesn't give them the right to treat UB customers as 3rd class citizens. FOS will hopefully investigate.

Pretty sure I read somewhere over the past few days (probably on the main NatWest thread) someone saying they believed that more manual corrections were involved in sorting out Ulster Bank transactions than for NatWest/RBS... words to that effect anyway.

RBS problem has been sorted, it is the backlog of processing payments. But then I never read this whole thread so you might have already knew that :)

No pay for me either. I was told it will clear early next week.

Spike faster payments take 2hrs anyway.

Seems this is yesterdays news with the queen and golf now and no one gives a crap anymore.

No pay for me either, but my direct debits aren't due until Monday, so I will keep everything crossed.

your Emergency ESA payment was sent by Faster Payment, and this method of transfer is not affected by the meltdown. Regular salary credits are done by BACS and thats where the problem lies.

On the BBC this morning the guy who does their banking info mentioned the Ulster Bank and the on going problems. He said the latest he heard was Monday for Ulster Bank, BUT, no guarantee.

Come on, we all know by now the three were hacked.;) Man running the local post office yesterday even agreed.
