Well now this is interesting, Teller transactions have now been applied, I withdrew 2 weeks wages over the counter, only 1 arrived, my wages from the week ending 23rd never arrived, I am now minus £300 and have direct debits due, will be interesting to see what way this plays out.0

Yep, still no sign of my wages which would have been in around 21st/22nd but can see debits going out from 29th on. I have spoken to other people who got paid around 25th/26th and their wages went in.
Definitely starting to look to me like they've 'lost' transactions over a period around the 21/22 June. If so, what on earth is their plan? To say that it's mostly fixed and then have people come and plead their cases for the incoming payments around 22nd that they are owed? If so, the first thing I'll be doing is after getting the payment acknowledged is transferring all the contents of my current and savings accounts out to another bank.0 -
'Catherine_: wrote:;54384127']Direct debits which were due out on the 28th and 2nd have finally went out today. I have switched to Nationwide, just need to lift my money from Ulster Bank when this whole fiasco is over and waiting on direct debits to switch
I suspect another reason they might be spinning this out is to put a plan in place to stop the bank from folding as people withdraw balances and close accounts en-masse.
I'd guess that they will lose the vast majority of their deposit base within a week once it's possible for people to jump off the sinking ship. The Bank of England will have to put emergency finance in place to support their operations until such time as they can wind it down.0 -

A teller transaction that I withdrew on the strength of my wages has now been debited from my account , however my wages from 22nd june have NOT been lodged. This has resulted in my balance now being MINUS £390!
This effectively means that I have NO money for over the holidays and the bank wont allow me to lift any more money out even though I SHOULD hvae a balance of £150!
Not happy at all!The loopy one has gone :j0 -
Why is it that all payments from 22nd June are still missing? What is it about this date? The loopy one has gone :j0

Does anyone have any idea if Ulster Bank will pay out for hardship due to payments not going in until well over a week later. I had to borrow from wonga to pay for food and I am now late on behind on payments to the catalague. Im now getting charged 12 for being late.0

I phoned about it just now, They say it should be fixed in the next week but to be honest she sounded like she didn't know.0
