Ulster/RBS Bank problems

No action here. Last transaction 20th June

I've noticed that anytime I have used a cashpoint, this has shown up immediately on my online statement, however any money due into my account (including my salary) is still not there.

So the bank are making sure that they get their money off me, but not prioritising getting money into my account.

I shall be voting with my feet after this fiasco is over.

It's working for me - maybe they're phasing it back in. I transferred money this morning and it worked perfectly - balance updated immediately.

I've also noticed some movement on the payments front - somehow my balance went up by about £25 - nothing showing on the statement though.

My family who banks with the ulsterbank have just had their wages go in (dated 26 June!)

I knew my hat was safe! Just a pity I couldn't have got a bet with my bank manager.

Latest transactions are now up to 26th June - so still a week behind - the same as it was last week! :mad:

So what are these "inroads" to the delay that the top brass keep spoofing about? Do they really think their customers are that thick? Why aren't the news people/journalists asking the executives these sort of questions? Oh I know, they won't be able to answer them!

no I am still 5 payments missing from 22nd forward, was 6 but appears one has went in but cannot see what it is as transactions not showing

Because:

1) Our local "journalists" are generally useless and exist by regurgitating press releases, or writing stories about cats stuck up trees. The concept of investigative journalism seems to be beyond them;

2) None of them would have any clue about the technical reasons why this has all occurred, so they don't bother.
