Happy Birthday LL!
Well I did L1 day 4 Shred this morning before work (10 hours after doing day 3!) as I won't have time this evening. I just did the side squads without weights as realised when tried just the weights that even standing straight up the lateral weight raise is too much for my back.
I've had to take a few more painkillers this week than last when my back had been settling down, but still feeling positive as I'm doing something about my flab : )0 -
Happy birthday LL.
just trying to keep up. No real fabbing for me, had a hectic day running around getting twin2 to Silverstone, ended up in mud over my shoes, and toes, so had to shower my feet. I think I should get down to caring for my feet a bit better!. Difficult for me to get to them at times!.
The hair was expensive, (to me) it cost £50. The assistant did it this time. The hairdresser who usually does it doesnt usually charge me as much as she is the best friend of my eldest daughter. But never mind. I usually get a cut and colour for £40! oh well. I used to do my own hair, until this year, but my arm is too bad for me to keep it up long enough anymore. I was horrified at the cost the first time I had it done. But I do feel better afterwards.
I managed a soak in a hot bath last night, reading a book for a while. Bit of an indulgence. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Happy Birthday LL
Lizzie - Well done on being strong at the appeal and that you have got an outcome that you are ok with.
Faithless - Well done on your exercise, but please be careful with your back.
Madrabbitgirl - Well done on going to the dentist. :T
PP - How is your story progressing?
I have made a doctor appointment for Monday morning as I want to change the type of anti depressants I am on. Been thinking lately that the depression is being caused by not dealing with the situation with my boyfriend. I believe the relationship with him will coming to an end in the not too distant future. I think because I am not dealing with it, I am either eating or sleeping (I have put on even more weight) to fill the void, and I'm just 'existing', there is no interest or fun in my life any more.
Boyfriend has booked to go to Holland to see his online gaming friends (he has borrowed from his Mum to go), and asked me if I would be alright on my own for a week after he had booked his flight! I am however going for a short break to the Peak District the same week bf is away, with my parents and two of my sisters. Hopefully will get lots of walking and thinking done while I am away from bf. I need to find the strength and courage to end it and start a new life.
Sorry to bring down the postivity on the thread, just needed to get that out in the open!
On a more positive note, I have been trying not to waste food and have made pear muffins and banana bread over the last couple of days. I have also been experimenting with recipes (had veggie sausage and cherry tomato bake last night which was nice.) Going to try some quinoa tonight as that has been lurking in the cupboard for ages.0 -
Callisto - hope your break away with family will help you put things into perspective and give you the strength to do something about it. If nothing else the fresh air and exercise will help with your mood. Have a lovely time. x
LL - Penblwydd hapus! (Happy Birthday in Welsh!)
Weigh in day today and I have lost 2 lbs:j:j That's despite the biscuit wobble on Monday. So I've now lost half a stone - half way there:T. Will carry on plodding on with the exercise and watching what I eat, who knows by the end of the half solstice I may have reached my target?
At last its the weekend but the forecast is rubbish and its rained all day here - I have an 8 mile walk to do in the countryside on Sunday, hope its cleared up a bit by then.:(
Staying in tonight and will do the Shred L2 later, not running in this weather.
Hope everyone is safe and dry?0 -
STS this week weigh in but half an inch gone from waist which is good
Shred L1 day 7 completed this morning and that's about it for this week as muscles starting to feel like they need a day off

Morning all! Been awake since 5am so gave up and eventually got up:mad:
I have a busy day today doing the usual chores and faffing about, cleaning, food shopping, library, dogwalking, ironing, and lots of schoolwork as I'm hoping to be out for most of the day tomorrow on a walk.
I'll have to fit some exercise in too - not sure what yet - will see what the weather's doing first. Its finally stopped raining but the forecast isn't great - where is our summer????
I had a bit of a wobbly diet day yesterday - just had one of those days when you just want to eat all day so will have to try to keep that in check today, don't want to undo my hard work.
Right, I might as well get the dog walked and do something productive......0 -
Oh dear, spent a couple of hours last night trying to empty the celler out of water. Got up this morning and the water level has increased even more now. Hoping for no more rain today so it can subside down

WW I could sleep but from half five this morning it's been either the dog or the cat bothering me  I am clearly not allowed to have a lie in (til 7.30). Meh. DD now got me up so will have a coffee shortly and do sme yoga while I have some relative peace and quiet.
Callisto hope your break away helps you find the strength to end it xx
Sparkles oh no, sorry to hear about your flooding, hope it subsides ASAP xx
Not much going on here other than DDs birthday party and a general tidy round. Might attempt shred later, depends on kids and dog! Neither is conducive to exercising in front of a TVI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

LL - belated happy birthday hope you had a good one.
Sparkles - hope you've not got too much damage.
BB - Hope DD's party goes well.
Well I don't think its stopped raining here since lunch time yesterday and forecast for the south is for it to continue for much of the day.
Plan for the day is to clean through the house and try and get shred done, but not sure if I'll get the telly long enough. Was hoping for a nice walk but its no fun in this weather. Must try and stay busy as its when I don't that I start on eating the junk.
Try and stay dry everyone xxxChiari Brain Malformation - decompression survivor
