    Morning all,

Mooloo - so glad things seem to be going well for you, I think it sounds like you're well on the way to fab! But more importantly you sound so much more positive which is lovely x

Savvy - I see Bitsy has put a link on but just wanted to say that would highly recommend it - it is hard work, especially the first few days but really does give results (make sure you measure as well before and after). Now I should take my own advice and get back onto it :rotfl:

WW - the social activities sound great, really nice mix as well, you'll have to tell us how the trampolining goes, remember doing it when I was much, much younger lol and was great fun.

Lizzie - the make-over sounds fun, and I would definately class those as compliments :) I'm on a few mystery shop sites so if you want referrals just let me know.

Anyways, busy day yesterday, went to the church rehearsal for the wedding on Friday. Is a really lovely church, is right in the middle of a built up housing estate area so I was thinking walking down, 'what is it going to look like?' but it is a really traditional little building set in its own grounds. Female minister who runs it and she was really nice and helpful. Had a few hours to kill between that and seeing the venue so wandered into town and ended up spending way too much money! Got some lovely little mini notebooks and a new bag in the sale - ok, so not a massive amount but I am skint this week so shouldn't really have been splashing out! Had choir last night, we're currently fund raising for a little girl who needs an operation to help her walk, but because it's quite a new procedure she's unable to get funded through the NHS. Anyway she came along to visit us last night, she's so cute and was really getting into it - we were taking requests from her and ended up doing a mash-up of Twinkle Twinkle and Baa Baa Black Sheep to a rock beat - it was different :rotfl:

Thanks for all the info everyone!

Local beauty place is doing a special offer on massages this week so I've booked myself in for a nice hot stone massage after work, can't wait!

Got my first WW weigh in tonight, I've been really good but feel really bloated so I hope I see a change!!

Hope everyone's having a good day

Hi, I hope everyone is having a good day. I had my dental appointment earlier and I am so glad I went! I was so nervous but the dentist was really lovely, she was really reassuring! I told her about my loose tooth. She took a look in my mouth and said "I'm very sorry to tell you this..."(on no, expecting the worst!) "but your loose tooth is a baby tooth!". Couldn't believe it! Apparently around 1 in 100 adults still have a few baby teeth that never fall out in childhood! My adult tooth was missing so never pushed it out! I had an x-ray and I will have to loose that tooth and have 2 of my old fillings re-done but the rest of my teeth are fine! I'm going back next weds to have it out and for my fillings and to decide if I want a denture or a bridge, although I think I have already decided to go with the bridge! I will have to wait 3 months to have the bridge while my gums heal (so I will have a gap). I just feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I'm not even that worried about loosing the one tooth anymore, I just feel really glad I'm doing something about it! :D
My partner also had an appointment to see how his finger is healing and they said that was healing nicely. :D
I feel like I can focus a little more on some of my goals (now that my stomach isn't a ball of knots from worrying!). Thanks to everyone for your support, I don't think I would have had the courage to phone and make the dentist appointment if I hadn't joined on here. Seeing how everyone else is really trying to improve their lives has really inspired me. Thanks everyone! :T :T :D

Madrabbitgirl - brilliant news about the dentist. You've conquered a fear - definitely fab!

Savvy - good luck with the weigh in - the bloat might just be a reaction to your newer way of eating, I'm sure you'll lose if you've been good.

Quite a good day at work today - no dramas and quite productive.
Swimming tonight - hoping to do at least 50 lengths (thats my usual now) but will see if I can push myself to do 64 (a mile).

I'm on a course tomorrow so a rest from work - will try to be very good with the buffet;)

Madrabbitgirl - well done on the dentist. Fantastic news.

Well I too conquered a fear today.

We had the dreaded "end of life" care talk today with my OH. The forms are all filled in and signed now. His answers were pretty much as I expected.

I thought that the Matron handled it all brilliantly - she was very gentle, tactful, diplomatic and respectful. I have to admit I was very proud of myself too - I managed to get through it all without dissolving into tears. A first for me.

Tomorrow I have to meet with Adult Social Services with my mum and dad to help them get sorted out. I just hope that dad can handle it, and that he manages to stay calm and focused. If he allows his temper a free rein he will do more harm than good.

I have to confess I will be glad when tomorrow is over - it's been quite a week. Hopefully, I can then relax and enjoy my birthday on Friday. 61. Only four months to go and then I can draw my pension and the DWP can get lost.

I will be free of them. I have received a form from ATOS which I have just completed and returned. I am assuming the worst - that they will completely disregard my GP's report and stop my ESA.

Although I shall be livid if they do stop my money I'm not too worried about the financial implication. It's only £70 per week - hardly enough to keep me in style ;) I do have enough savings - it's just the principle.

Well now ladies I have a confession to make.

I have been feeling a bit out of sorts, bloated and uncomfortable, my knees have been giving me gyp, my clothes were feeling rather snug. On Sunday I put myself on the scales:eek: That stone I lost has more or less come back.

So it's back to the drawing board. Time to try again.

So far so good, no bread, cakes, biscuits, alcohol, sweeties.

    It's a start. ;)

Well done on getting back on the "diet" wagon LL - although don't be too hard on yourself, you've had so much to deal with lately you can't be perfect all of the time, sometimes a little bit of indulgence helps you through. I'm glad today has been and gone for you - it must be an awful thing to have to do but at least its over with (can't think of any poignant words of wisdom like you always do but be assured that we're all thinking of you).

Been swimming- quite pleased with my efforts, distance and speed are improving all the time. There was just me and a bloke in the fast lane and it get quite competitive - I saw him off eventually though. And no, I didn't wee in the water:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I had my hair coloured, roots done etc today, so feel better again that way, however my neck is really bad so had to go to bed for a few hours this afternoon, which has put me back on the hop as I am supposed to be doing so much tomorrow anyway!.
I dont have any weighing scales to weigh myself on so I have absolutely no idea what I weigh, but I know that I am feeling some of my things a little snug, and I cannot blame it on my time of the month, cos I had a hysterectomy many years ago!.
Oh I forgot, I had 3 minutes in the suntanning booth at the hairdressers as well. Maybe that will also help me with the feeling good bits. Decided to just have 3 minutes when i get my hair done, as I go every week to get the hair done, so it would be a regular thing. Bought an hours course, for £15 on special offer. So get 60 minutes across the total, and can use it for up to a year. So thats not so bad.
I have bought a few bits of clothing in a charity shop today, some for my sewing, but one or two I may use if they fit me, and if they dont then I will use them in the sewing.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

A rubbish tense day at work atmosphere today

However a good exercise day with 30 day Shred level 1 day 5/10 completed before work first thing this morning and after work did Banish Fat Boost Metabolism both of which went better than last time. Plus my work tight skinny jeans feel looser around most places - weird. What else, not much apart from sticking to this week's exercise plan before the holiday next week

    Evening all

Massage was amazing! Might make it a regular thing, been having pain in my hip and masseuse said that my hips feel like their not alligned so been recommended a chiropractor by a friend for a free consultation.

On the plus side I lost 4lb at Weight Watchers, very pleased!!

Fabbing for tonight is some fake tanning and a hair mask!

    Enjoy your evening xx

thanks I would appreciate that - it looks more complicated than I thought but I still want to go ahead.

I think you can be excused a little treat after the hard work you are putting in. How lovely of all of you to help little girl.

Don't be too hard on yourself LL I think it's only to be expected when so much is going on that things slip- I know they do with me and eating is the hardest thing for me to tackle, couple that with the aches and pains meaning we can't exercise in a way that burns fat effectively and it makes it that bit harder. You lost it once and when you feel able you can lose it again. Good luck for today.

Its DS3's birthday today so there will be no healthy eating here today. We are off for a meal as the weather and my broken freezer have put paid to barbie. Have to look for a new cheap freezer any recommendations on reliable brands would be appreciated. DWP appeal later - am no longer bothered what the outcome is because I am determined not to be reliant on them any longer than necessary. Been discharged with my finger, told to keep up the exercises and if any deterioration re contact them but have to accept that it probably will never be as it was before my injury. Right off to walk dog before dinner.
