    Hi all,

Just a quick one - thanks to those who had a look at the site :)
Am feeling a bit brighter today, can't let people like that get to me! Am finishing work at 1pm today to go along to the rehearsal at the church for the next wedding on Friday, then popping along to see the function room and then straight to choir - so another busy day!

LL - hope you're ok, hun, sounds very stressful x

EEk, 5 pages and I have only just found you all. Got a lot to read up, as I was on holiday when the change over happened.
Time has been flying past. I do feel much better then I did 6 months ago, and thats a promise!
I feel and look 10 years younger. My councillor is happy with the way I am going, and I am happier in myself. More confident and more focused. Although I think that i have a very long way to go to be Fab!. I dont look after my skin or hair properly, although the hair is now getting a weekly wash and blowdry/iron every week. Which has helped me.
The nails etc leave a lot to be desired, and so is the midrift, but on the whole, I am dressing better, wearing brighter clothes, and have renewed my wardrobe with clothes purchased in the charity shops, but nobody would know that!.
I am getting compliments a lot more now, and that is a boost to the ego. It makes me want to improve even more.
Have to go now, but will come back and try and have a read to catch up when I get a bit more time.
Hugs to everyone who are in need.

    Afternoon All,

Damp & miserable here in wales, bit like how I feel, its the dreaded PMT week I ache, feel sluggish, bloated, demotivated and a grumpy cow! Just ate a Mars bar cause I needed too! so much for a healthy diet! Grrr The thing is I know it will pass, best thing I can do is keep to myself & chill, so bath & relax with knitting baby shawl tonight & the telly.

    Eh xx

Go MooLoo!!!! Great to see your positive progress and the compliments you're getting - you're obviously doing something right!:T:T

Pod - you'll meet yourself coming back soon! Try to get a little rest in too.

LL - sounds like a very difficult week - must be so hard, we're here if you need us. xx Good luck with the walking. Do you have an iPod or MP3 player? I find that I walk for longer and faster when I have music to bob along to.

Well, just back from Couch to 5K with the dog - that's week 1 done now:j, on to week 2 later in the week. Its getting a bit easier but will get harder again as I progress through the weeks.
I'll do 2x 10 mins of the Abs DVD later to do a bit of toning as well as the cardio.

Food today has been much better than yesterday - I resorted to just a cereal bar and a ton of fruit during the day and will have a veg moussaka and salad for tea.

Just read something interesting in an email I got sent about looking and feeling tired ...
    Here's the most useful things
    • hold awashcloth soaked in cold water over your eyes for a few minutes. Cold helps shrink inflammation and puffiness and will help shrink veins in your eyes so they'll look less bloodshot.
    • apply an eyecream as soon as possible to help moisturize the fragile eye skin. Look for one that's oil-free and contains hyaluronic acid, and keep it in the fridge for extra defense against puffiness
    • If you know you're going to have a long night and an early morning, avoid eating any salty foods after 6:00 pm, and sleep with your head propped up on pillows to help fluids drain
May be worth a try if, like me, you get too little sleep and wake up looking like a bug eyed monster!:p

As the long summer holiday is looming I thought it was about time I booked some Spice events to keep me occupied and stop me becoming a hermit through the hols......

    So I'm now doing...
    • 3 rambles/walks (some I can take the dog with me)
    • A murder mystery night
    • A comedy and curry night
    • Book club
    • Night out to watch a band
    and wait for it.....
    • Trampolining:rotfl::rotfl:
And all for a total of £35:T

There's a few other things I'm thinking about doing but will wait until I'm paid to book them - posh curry, a salt cave experience (supposed to be healing?) and a night at the dogs (never been and sounds like fun).

So now they're booked I'll go - if I've paid I make sure I go!
Will have a mooch on the Meet up sites and see if there's anything worth doing there too.
Oh, and my friend from work has invited me to an informal do at her house next Saturday to prempt the end of term and my dog friend has asked about a walk/lunch/pint this weekend. I think I may have got this socialising thing cracked:rotfl:

    Evening fabbers

Have shredded tonight first time since Thursday, its the 7th time on level 2 and I'm just starting to feel like i can manage it without nearly dying at the end. It is true that the more you do the more you want to and you get a buzz at the end. Thinking of some other forms of exercise I can fit into my life. Not much money and live in quite a rural area. The leisure centre do a good variety but the classes I want to do seem to be on nights kids are busy or during the day when I'm at work.

Not done much extra fabbing lately apart from the extra mosituriser on my burnt nose, got sunburnt on saturday at the school fayre, it was so windy didn't realise how strong the sun was until I got home and it was to late so now I have a peeling nose, a lovely sight!!

Keep up with all the fab exercise and fabbing xxx

Had a makeover last night courtesy of DD2 - she said I look 10 yrs younger :j. DS3 said I look better without make up :j, both compliments of sort (I think......):rotfl::rotfl:we enjoyed it anyway doing a makeover on each other. Now she's getting older these moments aren't as plentiful so I enjoy them.

Done my yoga this morning- back is a bit stiff today -it's the housework that does it, but the yoga is helping. Would love to go back to the zumba but don't know if my back will ever be up to it- perhaps in time who knows.
Did my nails last night too.
Am thinking of signing up for a few mystery shopping sites, was going to do it before but never got round to it.
Am also going to start thinking about where to start on the business front am aiming to start advertising in Sept /Oct and see if there's a call for it.

Off to walk dogs now before I pop into town for DS3's birthday pressie. Have a good day everyone x
