Good evening everyone.
Today's super fabness was a great mountain bike ride - really enjoyed it. Such a long time since I last did this off road in the country side and was a great day out.
Came home and after a couple of hours off did 6W6P which was hard work today!
Not sure if my legs will be up for some more exercise tomorrow - will have to see how I feel. Apart from that, not much else to report and am listening to the football for a couple of hoursfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Evil well done on the WL :T
WW good plan for the exercise
Sparkles well done on bike ride, not mad keen on bikes myself saddles waaaay too uncomfy
Ever hopeful hope wardrobe declutter was successful.
Savvy jade nice to see you don't let work get in the way of looking after yourself.
Well yesterday and today were S days so snacks, sweets and seconds were allowed. Didn't really go mad yesterday but have gone mad todaybit daft really all because I didn't want to chuck food away
must remind myself I am not a dustbin
Anyway fabbing has been facial workout a la Eve Fraser. My right side of my face is much harder to move than my left  face ache at the end, need to do it again before bedtime. Also filed and painted my toenails againmight do a face mask while I wait for DS to drop off to sleep.
Saw the Olympic torch this morning which the kids really enjoyed, it's exhausting watching other people run :rotfl: must get an early night tonight.........I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
All will be well in the end. If it's not well, it's not the end.Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars0 -
Glad you had a good day Bitsy! I haven't seen the olympic relay but one of my colleagues' dad was a bearer and he brought the torch in for us to have a look at - its heavier than it looks. Apparently he's built a special stand for it and its proudly placed in the living room.:rotfl:
Sparkles - hope you haven't got a sore bum after all that biking?;)
Don't forget that we vowed to try new things every week...for this week mine are...- Using Aldi serum and nightcream (bought for the grand total of £5.50:p)
- Making something new to eat - not sure what yet but I need to extend my repertoire of meals, seem to eat the same things all the time

Not sore at allFull of beans after the bike ride
Quite an interrupted nights sleep last night - could have got up at 4am really. Anyway my new things this week are
Wear my floral trousers bought in January and be brave and wear them
Sort out clothes for charity shop and stop putting this off and take them in
Move into 2nd week of 5 days of exercise with Shred for 3 days, 6W6P 3 days and a short run one night.
Not that much too new this week, more maintaining some changes and stop putting off a job of sorting things outfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Morning all
WW - sorry I'm way behind everyone else here but the card and present from your pupil is lovely. It's so nice to be appreciated especially now that she's told her parents. I have some friends who are teachers and know that I couldn't do it but it must be such a rewarding job sometimes.
Congrats on the WL evilsquid :j
Sparkles - well done on the bike ride - it would have made me sleep for days!
Savvyjade - how did the wardrobe declutter go? I did mine last week and I have to be ruthless or I want to keep it all!
I haven't had chance to catch up over the weekend so am impressed by all of your exercising and healthy eating.
I had a Fab Friday choosing to wear a long black flowing skirt and a floral top. I wore my open toe sandals and had freshly painted toenails and I even wore a touch of make up. I felt summery and confident and got some compliments at work which was nice. However, I don't wear long skirts very often and in the end I ran over the end of the skirt with my office chair (:rotfl:) and it's torn beyond repair.
I am still going with couch to 5k and started week 2 on Saturday morning - wow I found it hard but I kept going anf I will do the next run tomorrow. I am still getting further and further with each run though which I'm pleased with for now. I did get bitten again though which is annoying!
I'm going to start small with my new things so this week is to try a new recipe and to start a book by an author I haven't read before.0 -
Hi all, I've been lurking rather than posting on the new thread, but I am here!
Everyone sounds like they're doing well with exercise, WW, that was a lovely thoughtful gift from the girl, it's lovely she had someone to go to.
LL, that sort of thing is really tough, having seen with with both of my grandmothers. Just keep making time for yourself, it might make you feel guilty or selfish, but you have to otherwise you'll get ill (mentally or physically, but something will give) and won't be able to help anyone.
My 'fabbing' has been making myself take time for a walk at lunch at work rather than sitting at my desk, it's been really helping my back, but it's easy to get caught up and not take a break. When a colleague is in I go with her and do a 2mile circuit. Not sure what to do when it rains though, I tried just walking about within the building and undercover across to the canteen, but not quite the same. But since I've been walking my back is noticeably better, taking fewer painkillers.
After a few people mentioned it I bought the 30 Day Shred dvd and did L1 yesterday for the first time, as my back felt up to it. It was hard but doable, I did pause it once for about 30 secs to get my breath back and have a drink! I found I couldn't do the side lunge leaning back and lifting weights properly as leaning back hurt my back, but the rest seemed ok.
However yesterday eve my back started hurting, and I've had to take painkillers this morning, but I'm hoping it's just a small flare up not a regression.:(
Good luck all.0 -
I'm back! I haven't abandoned you all I have just had quite a hectic week. I am still trying to catch up, reading over the past few days posts. Well done on every one who has been sticking to their exercise and to those who are losing weight successfully! :T To those of you who feel things aren't going so well, please don't give up! Hugs to all of you!
LL: I really feel for you, it must be so draining having to deal with so much. It sounds like a pretty tough situation, especially if your brother isn't really helping the situation. He is probably just really worried. Whatever the outcome, there is only so much one person can do, try not to feel that it is entirely down to you to sort out and make sure everything is ok. Remember to take care of yourself too.
Everything went a bit downhill for me starting Weds evening. Weds is both mine and my partners day off and my partner was doing some DIY and managed to drill through his finger! (OUCH!). I think I was more panicked than he was! I phoned NHS direct & they said to get him to A&E so I had to call his grandparents to drive us (I don't drive). We spent 3 hours in A&E (there were other people that were waiting longer than us). He had an x-ray and had gone through the bone. They gave him a tetanus jab and some anti-biotics. He has gone back to work today but had a few days off as it was difficult for him to drive.
Since then I haven't really felt like bothering with anything much and felt like everything was getting on top of me so haven't really been exercising or trying with any of my goals. I spent yesterday trying to tidy up a bit and catch up with my clothes washing etc and helping my partner finish the DIY (he wanted to get it done!). I feel a bit better now everything is a bit less chaotic around me anyway!
So for this week I just want to try to start from where I left off last week, so same targets as last week.
I managed to lose 1lb when I weighed myself for my weekly weigh in, not loads but better than nothing!
My 'trying something different' this week will be: wearing my hair in a different way to usual, maybe put it up for a change or put a plait in it or get a new pretty hair-clip.January 2016:

Morning all,
Apologies for not commenting personally but well done on all the exercise, healthy eating and WL that seems to be going on - you're all putting me to shame
Well, am back to work today and must admit it doesn't really feel like I've had much of a weekend. Had to finish off the photo editing yesterday - there was more left to do then I thought so was on it again for most of the day and ended up falling out with OH as we were meant to go and film a band that night but I couldn't while I had the work to finish. It's a local band that we cover a lot and they weren't bothered whether we went or not, it was getting some extra practice in, but I felt bad - plus it would have been nice for a bit of a break. So finished that about 9pm, had a quick shower and conditioned my hair as it was looking a complete mess then tried to get some done on the story before bed.
Tonight I'm going round to the wedding couple's house after work to drop off their cd, tomorrow am meant to be checking out the church and venue with another couple and then an actual wedding on Friday. Can feel that I'm overdoing it but none of it is really put-offable so don't have a great deal of choice
Not getting very far with the fabbing due to lack of time, but am wearing a new (well cs) top today, is brown with a black flower/plant pattern on it and an empire waistline. Will try and sort out my nails tonight as they are looking a bit of a state.
Hope everyone has a good day x0 -
Morning all
I'm having my eyebrows done tonight and think will have nails done too!
Feeling really tired and sluggish in the mornings so from
Tomorrow going to set alarm early and go for a nice coastal walk as I'm very lucky and live right on the beach.
I have my fruit with me for snacking today, I hope when I weigh on Wednesday I'll see a positive result! x0 -

ouch hope it doesn't take too long to heal. mine is taking a while have been told 18 mths before it will be back to normal if at all. it is getting better slowly.

well done on the weight loss every little helps.
Had a good weekend (apart from sniping from H, don't take any notice anymore but he was getting on to DD2 and she was a bit upset. Have tried to explain she doesn't always help herself but in the end she is a typical teenager who doesn't really want to do anything except for herself. Unfortunately going on about every little thing doesn't help.). Went to Rufford Country Park with doggy who had a fantastic time chasing rabbits. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:It was lovely.
Have been doing my yoga and my back is feeling better. Feet are getting a little less dry too. Am going to go back and review my goals. Am not ready to tackle the eating just yet but am feeling much nearer than I was.
Will think about something new to try and post about it later.
PP hopefully you will have a less manic week. Take care.
have a good day everyone.
