They haven't taken my money just blocked it on my acc, all 49.60 odd of iT despite the fact they have cancelled half of my items! Tesco direct still says half my items are created totalling 24.41. Despite the fact they were supposed to be Instore on thurs

I believe the majority of the items were supposed to be genuine markdowns. I don't know what they are playing at. Surely they ain't making THAT much money that they'd love to lose a pile of customers?

  • I ordered the N32FR 678-017 radio controlled helicopter from tesco direct which is supplied through maplin.Received the despatch email today.I have contacted maplin to check it has actually been despatched and they informed me i had actually ordered a spare part.
Have a look at the item description and see if it looks like a spare part or helicopter. Also what would you do under the circumstances.

    Right,
Please ring the following number it takes 10 minutes and put Tesco under a little pressure.

    Thanks

  • This is my experience, I ordered 2 items, Megablox Halo War, on 20/06. Then I received a text yesterday, saying " Due to an error, The mispriced items has been cancelled". A refund will be made to my account.
Today, I received an email, saying that the order was dispatched.
Just now, I received a call from my local tesco, telling me my order is ready for collection.
I will call in Tesco tomorrow to check.

Did you have to provide any proof and what did you say to them? I've never done anything like this and don't want to sound pathetic! I took screenshots last night though to show the date/time and price of the products.

they asked me for the toy descriptions and names and advised that TS may want to contact me for further info including the screenshots - they took my name and phone number and that was it.

My bank account says differently. They've definitely taken the funds from my account and cancelled.

Citizens Advice told me that each company can have their own T&Cs as to when the contract is formed - and as Ts is when delivery/collecion is made, then they have not done anything wrong in taking our money and not fulfilling the order. Its not good that they do this, and obviously not great for people to have to wait for a refund (I always use my clubcard vouchers for things like this so it doesnt matter if they take a while to refund), however its not an offence for them to do this.
What is a criminal offence is to continue to advertise the goods at the wrong price, which is why CA have passed the details onto TS to investigate ;)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

The cars easel went into my basket at £7.50, the confirmation screen once payment had gone through confirmed order total was £7.50. However when I log into my account it shows that I will be charged £30.00!!!

However, my confirmation email I just received shows that I should be charged £7.50.

Do you think its worth waiting for it to be delivered to store then arguing it to get a refund of the difference?????

Could be an argument for double the difference on that! ;)

    Happy moneysaving all.

Pants. They closed at 4pm today. Will try again on Monday as I've heard nothing back about this from Tesco nor have I heard anything back about their Real Food magazine so they're really not in my good books this week.
