    Right,
Please ring the following number it takes 10 minutes and put Tesco under a little pressure.

02081850710 - its a national number to ring and cheap rate.

    Thanks
    Steve

Done that and hope many would join. Tesco is not fit enough to manage an e commerce site.

I placed 2 orders this morning. Both for in store pick up. One was for a peppa pig jigsaw which has been canceled :( and another one with the airplane, tomy car and ben and holly teddies which says "Partially Confirmed". Does anyone know what that means?

My order which was partially confirmed is now stashed away for Christmas-:j my order was one which had lego- they cancelled this and other items which I received... I'd almost given up hope but finally got a dispatch email overnight. Good luck

thanks Coppers459....I've just rang the above (Citizens Advice) and they've confirmed that not honouring the orders is fine, and its just bad luck that some got theirs and others didnt, the ones that were despatched before Ts realised were lucky! They also confirmed that to continue to advertise goods at the wrong price, and to increase the price once added to your basket is a criminal offence.

They have taken my details and are going to contact Trading Standards that deal with Tesco. :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

For those who wish to pursue on the basis that a contract has been formed:
Tesco have not 'taken' the money, they have only 'held' the funds. Therefore no contract has been formed under the law.

Trust me on this one, i've seen this many times before.

Did you have to provide any proof and what did you say to them? I've never done anything like this and don't want to sound pathetic! I took screenshots last night though to show the date/time and price of the products.

My bank account says differently. They've definitely taken the funds from my account and cancelled.
Smashed through my weightloss target. Looking at 120lbs+ loss. BMI over 40 down to 20.5. Training hard to get body fat under 20%, not far to go now :j

I have the following transactions on my online banking:

22/06/2012 CARD PAYMENT TO Amazon EU Javari UK,24.58 GBP ON 20-06-2012
22/06/2012 CARD PAYMENT TO TESCO DIRECT,25.00 GBP ON 19-06-2012

The Javari order was placed on the 19th, dispatched on the 20th, arrived yesterday and the money taken from my account on the date of dispatch.

The Tesco order was placed on the 19th, cancelled on the 21st but the money was taken on the 19th.

Two companies with two different methods of collecting payment. Which one have I never have orders cancelled by and never had cause to complain. I'll give you a clue ..... it isn't Tesco
