I have 27 cancelled...oops just had another email...make that 28, John Adams Gross Science fails
I am convinced they do this purposely to generate traffic and new customers who are encouraged by the £10 off £40 code..which never gets seen again as the order is cancelled.
They're baiting customers and should be taken to task.
I will say nothing more on that matter...
Had my cancellation email however they left one item on there which I assume was not "mispriced". I was planning on ordering it for Christmas anyway but as principle I cancelled it. They may not care but I feel a whole lot better about it!
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -
Thanks to those who replied about the 'sent to fulfilment' query- just had an email to say the order has been dispatched (Rapunzel doll and baby born doll) will believe it when I get my hands on them tomorrow!
good luck to those still waiting- have had my other order (lego) cancelled0 -
Chipmunk, you are a new member. Just joined to comment on this thread.
You start with a first post, that reads like a sermon. Chapter and verse as if you work for Tesco.
A post that most long timers on here would never post in such a way. Then wonder why someone doubts you. Believe me, you first need to get thicker skin and not take it to personally to survive on here.
Water off a ducks back.
It may read like a sermon, but if you go through all the info in this whole thread what I have said makes sense. Someone posted they had spoken to Tesco and they had 17,000 orders and have cancelled 15,000 of them. I think that shows that it is the system that takes the orders that has issues with high volume. However, we (collectively) only made high volumes of orders because someone at Tesco made an error with a load of prices. So if Tesco fix their pricing, the ordering system is then robust enough to cope with usual demand. However if they fix the pricing, we don;t get glitches. Makes sense to me.
And I only responded to the other post because as a first time poster (longtime lurker though) I thought it funny that someone straight out accuses me of lying.0 -

Are new members not allowed to make long posts or express their thoughts in any level of detail? Or is this a public forum?
I happen to agree with his points.0 -

I think maybe it was just a bit confusing when you said:chipmunk007 wrote: »3 sets of Scalextric to collect, had confirmation emails and yodel tracking
since you wouldn't usually collect something being delivered, probably just a misunderstanding in the way you phrased it. Enjoy them! Hope one was for you!"There is no substitute for time."

I only placed 1 order for 5 items so after a text sayingnordered cancelled so far I have had 1 email about 1 item saying it was cancelled and refunded it also dissapeared off the order screen in my account. The other items are still showing as confirmed and despatched.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

WHY are you capitalizing RANDOM words it is VERY annoying? This has been a bit of a roller coaster ride for me as in I got a voice message saying my order had been cancelled & that I have been e-mailed about it so I thought , here we go , but have they cancelled the WHOLE order or just SOME of the items???
Then I FORGOT on the same night I ordered the Toy Story blow up chair and THAT is what was cancelled! lol
SO my order is STILL showing as created , not holding out much hope but STILL can't help hoping I get SOME of the items for my Grandchildren ... When you are on a really tight budget and can't afford to treat the children or stock up on some Christmas presents so its not a financial drain come December and the toys you ordered aren't just ADORABLE but SO SUITED to your Granchild ( ie he needs special needs toys so the light up screwdriver & piano play mat would have been PERFECT for him & I always imagine his face lighting up when he sees and plays with the toys )....
ANYWAY it IS a disappointment and ok not a HUGE one but still a BIG one for me when I can firstly only BUY CERTAIN toys which are suitable for my DGS AND when you've not got much money a bargain is a REAL GODSEND! ........IF you get it!! lolx
(Maybe its MY face which lights up when the toys arrive!! lol Not holding out much hope for these as I was pretty much the LAST person to order late that night when I saw it on here BUT surely if they had allocated SOME of the items ON ORDERING and they still WERE in stock when I ordered them and possibly a genuine reduction then I still might / could get a FEW items at least??? )Biggest wins to date: XBox ~ iPod Touch ~ Prada Handbag worth £1000 ~
:TThanks to all that contribute to the Competitions Board:T0 -
this will happen more and more.tesco's have been making a profit over the last few years by cutting jobs.they have know reached the point where they have cut to many,so nobody to check(or not so many)for possible misprices.good for us if we can get them.:(:mad::(:eek:0
