i just had 4 cancellation emails0

Yeap this is getting ridiculous they can't keep having these misprices all the time. They should have the courtesy to honour their own mistakes.
We think this is all marketing ploy but think they should go against them and become a bad marketing experience.
Martin is there nothing you can do here?0 -

Mine doesn't actually say mispriced, it just says unable to fulfill my order so it could be they have run out of stock and some may still get it.
The 1 I bought instore in march broke 2 weeks ago and as they don't sell them instore anymore they couldn't replace so only offered a refund.september wins - toshiba laptop, timotei shampoo & conditioner, mccains games, pimms picnic blanket.
october wins - grants tumblers, £20 petrol voucher, sega console, iphone
novembers wins - £50 on walkers rainy day, £50 itunes voucher
march wins - dog treats0 -
What a mess. They should be able to deal with this. I will shop with them again for the Dtd the glitches and whoopsies they will pay for this in other ways0

If it is a marketing ploy.. its not a very good one.
Was gonna pick my orders up Saturday morning and do our weekly 'big shop' at the same time.
Gonna go to Asda instead now.0 -
My order was due to be picked up from the store today. But I have received cancellation email.0

I just got the cancellation email too but earlier on today I got an email to say it was ready for collection?! Tesco is right by me so won't be a big 'wasted' journey, but may take a walk to see if, since it's in the store, they will give it to me (hope for a 'not so bright' colleague to be on the desk who may not have been told)
If not, will send a little email and ask Tesco to explain how I'm supposed to tell a 2 year old 'Sorry no birthday present'
It's been 2 days from purchase to be notified of the error - the same day as collection was meant to be - bad customer service.28/04/11 - A bad day for shoppers everywhere (Tesco shoppers that is!) RIP DTD :A0 -
Print off the email that says it is ready to collect and take it with you.
Just act dumb and ask for it.If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -
I've just come off the phone with Tesco Direct. Apparently they received 17000 orders and they managed to cancel all but 2000. The manager said to me that it was unfortunate, to which I replied it was fortunate for the 2000 orders. She replied, that it was very unfortunate for Tesco as a company...I think she was expecting some sympathy!
I will certainly think twice again before ordering with them.
I also mentioned the fact of them taking the money so quickly. She informed me that there was no other way to do it. I explained that other companies don't take the money until they know that the item can be dispatched. She told me that Tesco are unable to do that! So now we have to wait 3-5 working days to get our money back.0 -
