    Hi everyone

yaaay - work is finished for the week (shh sorry about those who're working at the weekend, never mind , you'll get your own back on me)

DH is out most of tomorrow. Well, he's out from 2, but it'll take him at least 2 hours to get ready, and 2 before that thinking about what he's going to wear, and ..... you get the picture, he's gonna be neither use nor ornament tomorrow.

Kids and I will just have to get on with it.

I really, really need to get back on track with spending. One or two too many lunches out at the weekend, nights out with work, folks visiting, and my budget has been blown this month. I think I need to get back to the grocery challenge too. At least I don't throw food out, not like the folks surveyed. (see cooltrikerchick's thread)

    hugs to all.

PauliesGirl - that is such great news.

    Hi everyone.....it's Friday :j :j :j
Busy at work today, but a nice day. We painted the children's noses red and by the end of the day some of them looked like they been in an accident! :rotfl:
Looking forward to blobbing out in front of the TV to watch Comic Relief.

AIME399 We love the Shamu cam, it's seriously addictive. We've been to Florida twice now and last year we spent 4 weeks over there. I think that Seaworld was my fav place and we hope to return in 2009.
Have a good evening, off to eat our lazy tea and sweeties! :D

Evening all, had a busy day. SIL came and took down the light fitting in the sitting room, I started to clear unwanted programmes from what is now OH's computer. After lunch I went to my friends, have not seen her for a couple of weeks. Did some shopping for her and also took some books I no longer need. It was nice to spend an afternoon slobbing out with her drinking tea and putting the world to rights.

Work is on going on the apartment, bedroom windows open today, painter seen with a paint brush in hand...........

Fish and chips for supper with bananas and icecream to follow.......next week we have to start packing in ernest, time is passing us by.

    Evening All

dlb just read your post from last night, its nice to read that the deputy head is understanding, lets hope he comes up trumps with seperating DS & step-son for sept. His mum had no rights to keep DH info off the forms. Whats DH doing about it?
You know where i work, so unless you had a shop for our place, I doubt it was you? Im sure I would have recognised your voice. and Im sure you would have burst out laughing anyway!

Not much planned for this evening. Probably chill out and watch Red Nose on tv.

    Have a good night all

    It's the weekend :j :j :j

Wierd isn't it, I have loads to do so it won't exactly be a slobbing weekend but they are things I WANT to do, so that's different isn't it :D

Tonight I'm going to unpack the last of the boxes from moving, hey! it's only been 9 months :rotfl: :rotfl: It is mostly cables and computer bits and a load of papers I need to keep but had nowhere to store. But now I do.

I'm a little bit worried as I think the mouse that moved in over the winter might have made itself a home in one of the boxes. Fortunately the little furry pest controller that comes round some mornings to say hullo may have sorted out that little problem. Now lets just hope moussy didn't eat my birth certificate and passport

Tomorrow I'll get the bucket planters sprayed, the seeds started and hopefully when the warm weather is back I'll be ready to plant out. icon14.gif

OK, time to get the pasta started, have lovely red nose evenings everyone.
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Evening, had a long old day at work and only just in the door

Have emptied the DW and half way thru it being full again. Have just created a rather pleasant stir fry even though i was seriously tempted to get takeaway.

Have just emptied the recycling... don't think that anyone else in my block will get any more paper in those bins and it was only emptied this morning!!! ooooops!

WM is on, have a few loads to get thru tonite before flatmate gets back 2moro and takes over. He will have loads of washing to do as he has been away for a week or so. Really need to have a tidy up in the lounge as it seems like i have a million projects on the go and not finished any of them (story of my life!). Anyhow, I have a list that I need to get on with.

    Enjoy your evening all

Hello. Not had time to read through, so hope everyone is well. Took down my heavy, lined bedroom curtains a while ago, and have transormed them into settee arm covers for my new sofa, also making a pair of curtains for DS bedroom. Made a start on the curtains this morning, but ran out of thread, so had to abandon that. Found some material I bought a while ago, and made my mum a shopping bag for mother's day. Got the instructions from www.morsbags.com (hope it's ok to include the address?) This afternoon been to a mother's day assembly and been presented with three daffodils and a slice of flapjack!! Had a couple of callers from Freecycle picking up some kitchen equipment and a kiddies battery bike. DS and DD went to Ju-jitsu this evening, so I called to see mum and dad before they go away tomorrow. Gave them the shopping bag I made and a bottle of wine. I've left it up to them to decide who gets which!!!

Hi all! Cannot believe I have only just found this wonderful thread! What a lovely bunch you all are! Sorry, Kyle, that you have had rain today - we have had a lovely day here in Sarfampton - got loads and loads of washing dry BUT it's not going to last. Bad weather on the way so I've heard. Anyway, had lovely Lemon Chicken (must thank the recipe-provider!) - it was absolutely delicious. DH said 'we'll have THAT again!' Finished off with home-made crumble made with left-over-starting-to-perish-fruit - apples, golden plums, some manky oranges and sultanas - delicious with naughty icecream! Anyway, I will definitely come back here again. Have a good night and a great weekend. Happy Mother's Day to all Mums including me!

Hi - I shop in the Co-op for several reasons; they're anti-blood sports, they have their own farms so their meat is always lovely, their wholemeal bread is miles better than anyone else's, at the moment they have a lovely chocolate cake which is almost sickly - for £1.69!, the staff are fantastic, they aren't a huge store so you are not so easily tempted to buy more than you have on your list AND their carrier bags start to biodegrade within eighteen months and completely disappear within three years. I have put one in a box and dated it just to monitor it! They also have a 'bag for life' which costs 10p and is replaced when it wears out AND has a chart on it showing loads of different ways of getting your five-a-day! Love this thread and think you all sound great! Byeeeee!
