Well home now, didn't get out of work on time, due to males panicing.

Didn't get into town, just went to the nearest retail park and called in at Matalan to exchange some trousers I had picked a size too big up for (why I dont know) and saw a gillet reduced to £4 and two pairs of Farah Trousers for £8 each for DH, so treat him. Then did Boots, and found the free Santuary Bag with voucher, eventually found the facial stuff for the £3 off voucher out of the last bag, just got face wipes, and a hand wash so got the 100 points from the ATM and £3 off the magazine voucher, and £2 off the bathing voucher out of the wrap, so didnt even make the £5 for the voucher, so added 2-4-1 aftersun but that had gone down to £6 so didnt have enough for the wrap, so got another 2-4-1 and the free wrap. then applied the £5 voucher I had so total £10.90 for a real bag full, and a further £5 voucher. - Howzat Amie?:T :j

Congrats on the interview PG - and glad the essays are coming along Roz-V.
Fingers cross for the other job seekers.

I know what you mean about Mum's miss both my Mum and MIL, I somehow feel lost not buying a card. Mum will be four years in April, and MIL ten years in June. I try not to remember when they died, as they both had 6 months slow deteriating before hand and it was a blessing in the end, just looked the dates up.:A

Going to put my feet up now with a coffee and some inane afternoon tv.

afternoon! I did post this morning but the site went down in the middle so it was lost:rolleyes: and I didn't have the time to redo it.

Have had another reflexology session this morning:j very relaxing, could have stopped all morning;) also have finished decorating the lounge:j just got a bit of paintwork to touch up but feel the need for a break from it over the weekend.

Need to start a touch of spring cleaning in the kitchen over the weekend, lots of cupboards to be decluttered.

Good news here! tap classes finally start again next week!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

    Hello folks
Well my washing machine is just on it's final spin of post holiday washing (load #4), and loads 1 to 3 are draped over various appendages in the house to dry. Luckily most of it is non iron. Plus I've just worked out all our spends/credit card bill etc, and we come in £38.33 under budget, which I'm pretty pleased with, as we bought loads of stuff (or seemed too - I never quite realise how good the £:$ ex rate is til I get my credit card bill!).

Went to the dentist this morning for Root Canal () but he couldn't do it, because I still have too much infection from the abcess. The last lot of antibiotics didn't even *touch the sides* as it were. He's given me double strength for a week to clear it up once & for all *fingers crossed*

Right, am off to JJB sports to spend some money on myself. I have £65 of quidco money due into the bank next week, plus a £5 lightspeed voucher, so I'm off for a new sports bra & some workout gear to motivate me back into the gym. I'm currently wearing 2002 work-issue shorts and a getting-saggier-by-the-day primark (£4) sports bra to the gym, so it's time for some new stuff.

hope you're all well & happy. Take care

    Evening All

Been swimming this morning with DD, think I've got a real water-baby on my hands, shes propelling herself along nicely so it will be lessons after Xmas when we get funding for nursery and it frees up some money.

I thought I was the only one dreading Sunday. I lost my mum 12 years ago when I was 18 and my sis was 15. I find it the hardest day of the year TBH even now I'm a mum and its my day.

Looking frward to the Fame Academy final tonight will be settling down with a glass of wine and some nibbles I think

    Have a good evening everybody
