Morning All
Sympathies to everyone, who like me is already at work. Been here since 5.30am:eek: I went to bed at 7am last night as I was so tired.
Think I'm going out this evening for dinner somewhere, but not entirely sure. Going to watch my local rugby club tomorrow, and having lunch at the club house. Then on to a ghost hunt in the evening. Can't wait.
I've got Sunday off for the first time in over a month and I can't wait to have a lie in. Got all prezzies sorted for Mum and Nan.
Sitting here with a hot lemon and honey to try and beat a horrible cough I've developed.
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Morning Guys!
DH & I feeling much better:D Its been a rough few days.
WM is on and DW will be on in abit. Still resting up today and DH still quite wheezy. House is all clean and tidy.
Cleaner came again last night and did another fabulous clean....next week she is coming early on Thursday with her cleaning partner, so will only be here for an hour. Gave her a key as Im normally at hospital early Thursday. Am really pleased that its working so well and she is a great cleaner;)
DD is dressed up today as its Red Nose at school today. She is also starting her drama/singing and dance lessons tomorrow. They are auditioning for High School Musical which she loves, so she has been practising none stop:rolleyes: So she is gone for 3 hours tomorrow afternoon and they start back again next term after Easter. £90 for a term of 10 weeks at 3hrs per week...I think its pretty good value. Fingers x'd she will do her best.
Am making a wholesome lamb stew for dinner in the SC.
Anyway, I have to go as I need something to eat.
Hugs to all.

smokybabe hope your DS soon settles down and you find out (if any) what the problem is.
I had another rough nights sleep for coughing, despite going to bed early again. Thank heaven its friday.
DD tooth fell out last night. It had been loose for ages.
Kids are all ready for school. They are having to wear "big" clothes for Comic Relief.
Anyway, going to jump in the shower, and dose up on pain killers. I had a rough day at work yesterday, on top of being unwell - I had no sympathy!
Have a great day
Take care

Good morning everybody. I'm sat here waiting for the District Nurse but have put the washing machine on, fed the outside birdies and gone and put all the stuff in the composter - and promptly fell onto the garden twisting as I did so and now my wound site is really sore. Last night DH's brother rang to say his Dad was in hospital on drips and oxygen. From what I could get out of him and DH's Mum (and it is like pulling teeth) he couldn't breath and "was grey" - so she takes him to the health centre. All this happened in the morning and it was 9pm when they rang us as they "didn't have any numbers...". I told DH that he has got to make sure his Mum has our number as I don't want to have to break the news to DH that I've had a telephone call giving bad news because they've waited so long to ring us. And this with a man who has angina and has had a heart attack (although when he was having his heart attack she rang her GP and said "his lips are blue" - funnily enough the GP rang for an ambulance....
then she spoke to her travel agents to cancel her holiday and get a refund and then rang me for DH a few hours later!!) I have thought for some time he has COPD as I've seen a lot of it in my time and guess what he's being treated with? antibiotics and steroids.... When I said to DH that he might be discharged with an inhaler DH said "oh he's got one of those" - I rest my case..... Anyway, I have orded DH up as it's (a) the only way we will know what's happening and (b) the rest of 'em couldn't organise a ....... DH also has strict instructions to try and get it through to his mother (which will require a very large hammer) that if his Dad is struggling to breath and is being sick and looks grey she is to ring an ambulance - doubt if it will sink in. So DH has already been to Asda (which after watching a film on the other day I'm not too happy about shopping there or DH working there) and done the "top up" shop we needed so I don't have to go out as I'm still sore (and haven't done myself any favours in the garden this morning).
Breakfast - cereal
Lunch - boiled egg
Dinner - I think I might be very naughty and have HM fish 'n' chips (I have some fish already done in the freezer!)
I hope everyone has a nice day.But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0 -
Good morning everyone, happy red nose day
It's a beautifull day here, I just hope that this sticks around for the weekend
It's FRIDAY :j :j :j :j and I'm planning a lovely weekend sorting pots and planting up. I luuurrrve a potter with the compost. I'm going to especially enjoy it coz I thought I was going to have to work this weekend, but fortunately I've wriggled out of it this week.
Scuzz, enjoy Sunday, they work you so hard! It's a feeling I know better than I'd like to. ((hugs))
A neighbour's cat just visited while on it's morning wander, so that's the pest control done this morning

Hi Y'all, bright, sunny and chilly here in the emids but we've been warned the snow is a-coming:eek:
Now the DW is emptied and the washing is on te airer I have nothing further OS planned for today - I know! drag me from this board and flog me with a vinegar soaked mircofibre cloth:D I'm even running the MATHLETTS to skool in the car - how lazy is that?
This morning I'm gonna totter into town and replenish the toiletry cupboard using my Pigsback Vouchers (I havn't actually spent cash in Boots for over 18 months - despite doing a big wedge of chrismas shopping there:j )
I've also got a Waterstones voucher left from Christmas so I'll pop in there and see what grabs me - Primark is only next door so I'm sure invisible forces will draw me through their doors too;) If opnly the same invisible forces could still squeeze me into a 30 waist, life would be rinky dinky!!
A cup of fancy coffee before hitting Tesco in a caffine fueled frenzy LOL
Just gotta remember to leave enough room in the car to pick the mATHLETTS back up from skool this afto.
Hugs to all - have a good day. I'm off to recky the Boot's grabbit board now!

Morning all
Lovely sunny day again, but a sharp frost overnight, so anyone planting seeds out might need to protect them especially as the weather forecast is for snow next week
Going to Lidl and Aldi this morning, hopefully i won't get a call from work saying I should be there (like I did last week) :rotfl:
Decluttering going really well, one bedroom is almost done, and some of the things I have listed on Ebay have bids, so a successful week.
:grouphug: to all, have a good dayYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0
